Martien, the temporary owner, is very welcoming and friendly guy and he did everything he could to give us a good time at the hostel.

The house invites you to relax and feel good and its natural construction makes it very cozy. The hostel had the best equipped kitchen on our trip. When we arrived, Jayjay gave us all the information about Nuevo Tingo and the surrounding area and then showed us the best spots for shopping and eating in the village. Jayjay helped us with every question that came up and it was not too much for him to organize and book our onward journey. We had a wonderful time in Nuevo Tingo and the 3 days we had booked turned into 5. We really enjoyed the hospitality. Our highlights were the pizza evening when Jayjay and his friend Gustavo made pizza for all of us. It was sooo delicious. And the trip to the Macro ruins that Jayjay accompanied us on. Thanks again for everything. We can highly recommend the hostel
