Overall, a well renovated building, right in the city centre of Ponta Delgada. The terrace on the 5th floor offers great views over the city. The location is excellent, and there's free parking right nearby, and if full, the alternative is a couple hundred meters away. Breakfast was nice with some regional produce.

Very good breakfast with both savory and sweet options, fresh fruits, coffee or tea. 24h access to the kitchen (there is possibility to cook as there is stove, oven, pots, cutting board and more!) with big fridge where you can leave anything (even marker and sticker are provided to mark your food). The fridge also makes drinkable water or ice cubes. In the small patio you can find ping pong table! Reception is friendly, ready to help, speaking fluent English. Code sistem makes it possible to arrive any time of a day. Rooms are big and spacious, with much space for unpacking clothes. Bathroom big as well, clean.

Very clean and comfortable with access to a kitchen and common area. Breakfast everyday at 8am. We had a rental car and manged to park outside for free relatively easily. Obviously not as convenient as having own private parking, but very doable. Very close to downtown Ponta Delgada. The host was extremely helpful and gave us very useful tips. Would 100% recommend.

13 km from Pico do Carvao, Pé Direito is located in Ponta Delgada and provides air-conditioned rooms. Absolutely fabulous place - the nicest hostel I've ever stayed at and the staff was wonderful.
