Anjar, the owner, is the kind of person you are really happy to meet on your trip. Perfect from the start to the end of your stay. He comes directly to the pier and takes you through your accommodation and does the same when you leave, free of charge. He is always available to give you advice and help, always smiling. But mostly what makes the difference here is the genuinely and the love of the owner, an amazing woman who puts effort and care for the guests that will let you feel like home. The Rock Samui - formerly known as The Rock Residence - SHA Extra Plus bevindt zich in Lamai, op een paar minuten lopen van Rocky's Beach, en biedt accommodatie met een buitenzwembad, gratis... The service provided by the staff and most of all Jerome were excellent. We got all what we requested and even the additional free breakfasts. All hotel is super clean, the cleaners are passing regularly and do a good job. The swimming pool is using a salted water system, which is ecological and free of chemical substances. The family room with big bunk beds for the children and living room with small kitchenette and TV was very comfortable. The kitchen and playing room (with board games) on the first floor. The coffee is just one floor down. Nice hotel beach and nearby beaches were excellent and clean. Free kayaks and paddle board provided by hotel. Good jogging routes around the hotel. Massage place and local restaurants nearby the hotel.

Samui Backpacker Hotel ligt in Bangrak, op 1 minuut lopen van een aanlegsteiger waarvandaan boten u naar Ko Phangan en de beroemde volle-maanfeesten kunnen brengen. The beds are comfy, the Aircon works great, owners were super extra lovely, great size pool. Has everything you need.

Nice place, close or next to the beach. Staf is really helpful. Rooms are big enough and there is good airco. There are some nice restaurants nearby to have breakfast and there is a laundryplace nextdoor. The hostel is on the less busy side of the island which is great but it also means that if you want to go to a nightmarket it is a 30min drive
