Gorgeous property just outside Purmamarca, stunning scenery. Amazing hosts - Julia and Jorge were incredibly helpful and friendly, telling us all we could do in the area. Delicious breakfast included ( Julia baked delicious breads, egg, and organic fruit) and she also cooked us a delicious traditional dinner. Rooms and communal areas are beautifully decorated and lots of restored antiques.

Set in a charming colonial-style house overlooking the hills, Pumahuasi Hotel Boutique offers rooms with warm decor and plasma TVs in Purmamarca. Free parking is provided. A great place to stay, just sorry that it was only for one night. It was a short walk out of town, but was still convenient for the shops and restaurants. It was nicely furnished and warm. The bed was large and very comfortable and the WiFi worked very well for us. Breakfast was enjoyable and secure parking was a bonus. Would recommend.

The location with an exceptional view on colorful mountains, the general atmosphere and decoration of the place, which has nothing to do with a hotel atmosphere as it is a house, full of plants, with a big veranda, rooms with a large terrace, very comfortable beds, bathroom without forgetting a delicious and generous breakfast with home-made bread and jam with a big fruit salad. The kindness and quality of attention of Teresa makes the difference too.

Located in Tilcara and with The Hill of Seven Colors reachable within 27 km, Hostal de Altura provides concierge services, non-smoking rooms, a shared lounge, free WiFi and a terrace. The hostal is at a perfect location, on top of a hill looking over the multi-coloured mountains. The staff - all of them - are genuinely amazing. We initially booked 2 nights, but we both got sick so had to stay longer, and it was the perfect place to do so. The staff checked in on us multiple times a day to see if we needed anything or if they could do anything for us 🥹 for which we are forever grateful. The room was very very clean, and got cleaned every morning. The shower is hot and has good water pressure and the beds are very comfortable. As others already stated, this was also our best breakfast in 4 months of traveling through South America. There also is a cute rooftop terrace to chill and have breakfast while watching the beautiful mountains. 10/10 I would recommend everyone to stay here!
