As a gardener, I could not resist this special place, designed by a landscape designer, for my first stay in the Atlantic rainforest. The beautiful grounds give way to total nature in steps. It was quiet and comfortable, a true getaway from it all but easy to reach town in minutes by boat. The walk to Abraao is worth doing once, but make use of the convenient boat to reach the more impressive hiking paths on the island. We enjoyed listening to the frogs and birds—watch out for hummingbirds and bright blue butterflies. The breakfast and dinner was fantastic.

Amazing place to stay in Ihla Grande. Room was clean and spacious. Staff were very friendly and the food was great. The deck is great for relaxing, swimming and snorkeling. Great value for money and would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Ihla Grande

Not all the stuff speaks English but the communication is not a problem. All of them are very very helpful and open for the needs of their guests - they supported us in everything we needed far over the possible expectations (including help in opening the coco nuts we gathered in the jungle).
