Set in Dearham, 26 km from Buttermere, The Old Mill Inn offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Very clean and spacious, attractive room, huge comfortable bed with good quality bed linen, big TV, spacious bathroom, large shower cubicle and great towels, first meal in the restaurant was delicious (beef bourguignon), good local ale at a reasonable price, breakfast was mixed but full English was very good. Dark haired lady on duty on our first night was lovely, friendly and very professional (apologies for not having a name). Contact via the app was good and the code access worked well. We enjoyed our stay.

Located in Bowland Bridge, 10 km from World of Beatrix Potter, The Hare & Hounds Inn provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Beautiful and comfortable rooms, very cosy place to spend a rainy evening. Really excellent food at the restaurant and the breakfast was amazing! We stopped for one night to break up the drive from Scotland and I wish we could have stayed longer, will definitely be back.

Lovely rooms and great facilities. Would recommend a visit to the brown cow for a meal, very friendly staff and food was amazing.

Built around 1590 as a miner's cottage known as 'Dove Cottage', The Langstrath Country Inn is a small family-run property offering accommodation in Stonethwaite. Parking is available. Absolutely everything. Great welcome, lovely room, stunning views, amazing dinner and breakfast, great service and delicious packed lunch. Chef deserves 2 hats! Cosy and atmospheric too.

Located in Barrow-in-Furness, Ormsgill Inn features free WiFi access and free private parking. Guests can enjoy a drink at the on-site bar, as well as the pool table and darts board. We stayed here for 11 nights. We have enjoyed the area; discovered the nature reserves along the coast line, the mosses and the hills and lakes of the closeby Lake District. The variation of landscapes in one area is unique. Every day we started with a tradional English breakfast and finished most days with a beer in the pub. There is an enclosed car-park as you need a car around here. There is wide range of restaurants in the city center. Lynn and Jim are enjoying running their Inn.

Situated in Levens, 18 km from World of Beatrix Potter, The Hare and Hounds, Levens features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Only problem was we didn't have long enough here so are going to have to re visit. Stayed here but wedding at villa Leven's. Rooms/staff/Breakfast first classing. Nothing not to like thanks

Situated in the quaint village of Boot, The Boot Inn offers free WiFi access, free parking, a bar and a restaurant. Very friendly people, beautiful location with very nice garden, good ffod, nice atmosphere.

Three Shires Inn is a family-run inn set in Little Langdale, in the heart of the Lake District National Park. Perfect location. Small but lovely room with everything we needed, comfy bed, nice bathroom etc. Excellent breakfast and evening meals. Friendly service. We will come again.

This hotel is situated in the centre of the village of Bowness-on-Windermere, just 2 minutes’ walk from the World of Beatrix Potter Attraction. Wi-Fi is free in public areas. Although located near the Tavern the rooms were quiet with no noise. The room had all amenities needed. The location was excellent - close to lots of bars, restaurants and shops as well the lake.

This traditional 17th-century Cumbrian inn is set in the Eden Valley, between the old market towns of Appleby and Penrith. Comfortable rooms, great hosts who went the extra mile to make us feel welcome food was exceptional evening meal and breakfast Great value for money
