Very warm welcome from Juana and Celso. Nice and cosy place to stay and chill. Celso will guide you to the best spots of taquile island from Pachamama temple, inca ruins, best sunset spot, to playa. They are great host with big heart. I truly recommend staying with them. They will tell you everything about island history, tradition, and more!
Just remember not taking all your luggage with you ...cause the island is hilly and the hike can be a bit challenging with heavy bags.

Vidal and Sonia were great hosts! They picked us up at the port by motorbike, very nice trip around the island. The room has its own bathroom and toilet with hot water and they provide a heater for the night so we were not cold at all. They prepared lunch (quinoa soup and trout with rice and vegetables), diner (chicken with rice and vegetables) and breakfast (fried egg and pancakes) for 20 soles extra per meal per person which is extremely fair given that these were one of the best meals we had during our trip, home made by Sonia with fresh organic products.

Offering fantastic views of Lake Titicaca Wisny Backpackers Inn offers accommodation in Puno. The bus terminal is conveniently a 7-minute drive away and guests are served a daily Continental breakfast free of charge. Such a great view from our bedroom! We loved this place. The owner is very friendly and we liked the extra exercise while walking up and down to the center.
Lovely experience for one night. We had lunch and dinner, plenty of tasty food. Just be aware to bring cash- it’s not possible to pay with card, and there are also some extra fees- like transfer from the city, or entrance to Titicaca lake
The property was on. Floating island. It was clean, spacious peaceful and the views were breaths-taking. Breakfast and dinner were really tasty. Gloria prepares delicious meals. Gloria and Eduardo were amazing hosts! I highly recommend staying at Uros Waliski Lodge.
Stunning view of sunset and sunrise, lovely family owners who take very good care and delicious dinner. Private toilet and shower (though it's a dry toilet)
Staying at Sariri Lodge was one of the most interesting experiences of our trip to Peru and Bolovia. We were warmly welcomed by Isaac and his wife. They did everything to help us feeling confortable. The boat trip and fishing trip with Isaac (included in the price) is even better than the standard tours to Taquile or to Isla del Sol. I loved every moment here. The room is clean, spacious, with the best sunset view. Dinner and breakfast were excellent.
Really nice staff, they welcomed us like family, beautiful view from room, delicious breakfast and dinner
These homes are owned by local families. It was wonderful to stay in an authentic floating reed home. We had our 2 kids (12 and 14) travel with us and we loved it. The location is rustic and homey. The families cooked us breakfast (included) and dinner. Electricity is generated via solar panels, so you need to ready for it. The family also took us for boat tours of the local village - it was charming and a chance to learn truly about local life. We HIGHLY recommend it - it is an opportunity to travel and support local families.
The place is such a uniqe experience, it’s a must see. Even with the conditions of living, there is everything you need for a shorter period of stay. Eddy and his family ar super kind and caring, and the value for money is absolutely worth it. We had dinner, lunch, breakfast, a 2 hour tour and transportation included in the all inclusive package and it was more than great.
This was probably the best experience I had in my life, from the beautiful room with a stunning view, to the delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner, but what made this unforgettable was the kindness of the people who own the place. Armando, his wife, the little Santiago, Saul...I will always remember you all. thank you for all my heart!!
This is an amazing place. Hosts are wonderful human beings. The view is spectacular. The peace and connection with nature is a total magical adventure. As a world traveler, this became one of my favorite spots from the beginning. No WiFi for me is a plus, as well as the dry bathroom. If you love peace and quiet in nature, this is definitely a place to visit.
Everything was perfect ! The couple that manage the place does everything that they can do to make you feel well and comfortable! They provided hot bottles of water to put inside the bed to make us warm at night. The breakfast was really good as well as the dinner. Ricardo also manage our way to come to the island as well as our way to Sicuani. Thanks a lot !
