Good view from the top. Other than that, not super impressive. Also don’t shake hands with the migrants. This is one of the main places they try and slip a trinket (usually bracelets) into your hand and then badger you to pay them for it.BrentUnited States - 8.0Scored 8.0
That is a lot of steps!
That is a lot of steps! The view is spectacular- you can see everything of the city from up there! I was not sure why the line was so slow to get in the church, it was too extremely hot to be in the sun for 45 min-1 hour, so could not get inside. Every other church I went to never had this issue... Beautiful location and a quite the accomplishment to get to the top. Enjoy.

l of people and that spoils the attraction. However, worth a visit to say you have been there. Take a nearby visit to the Capucian Monks church to see the 'bones of the monks', incredible but weird and unusual.

An impressive structure but we found it disappointing because it was divided into 'sections' and we were unable to grasp its full width and length. Obviously touristy and crowded with too many pushy touts around.

I found that you cannot sit on the steps during the day.
I found that you cannot sit on the steps during the day. Police will blow a whistle and ask you to move along. however, you can sit on the steps in the evening time and enjoy conversation with friends or other visitors.

We had 2 bathrooms with very modern shower, which was amazing. Breakfast left no wishes open, fresh fruits, cakes, eggs... The hotel is in a quiet road, but very close to metro, busses and Spanish steps. We can highly recommend it. Personnal was very helpful. We arrived at midnight with organized taxi transfer at the hotel and the manager was already waiting for us - late check-in functionned perfectly.

This is not a standard rental apartment, soulless and cold, but a real home where you can feel like a local. Don't miss the bakery on the other side of the stree. They have pistachio croissants!

The rooms are beautiful and spacious enough even if you travel with a large suitcase. It was also exceptionally clean. The staff is friendly and the hotel bar is fair-priced, especially for breakfast (<5€ for coffee and a pastry). Location was a lot better than expected, <30 minutes on foot to the spanish steps and a lot of buses that take you literally anywhere!
