The view was great. Thoroughly enjoyed the birdlife visiting the beautiful gardens. Very pleasant and helpful hosts. Very clean room with some added touches to make the stay memorable. Loved all of the efforts the hosts are making to be considerate of the environment. Ample breakfast (fresh wild blackberries were amazing!) The garden gate opens onto the Conical Hill track - a lovely 30 min walk through forest on a wide, well maintained track.

The lodge was very clean and warm with a lovely sunny deck and fire roaring in the reception area. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to give us a car park to ensure security for our mountain bikes.

The staff told us all about the facilities and things to do in the district upon arrival. The kitchen facilities and lounge spaces are ample, clean & comfortable. I had a room with my own kitchenette and bathroom that is well worth the few dollars more I paid for that ease. It's a fabulous, cost-effective option over other types of accommodations. I'll go back again and again 👌
