We stayed at Harmony in the off season and we were actually the only ones there. Apart from the beautiful tent and view from the tent, we could see so many starts and the entire milkiway from our balcony, which was mesmerizing. Apart from all of that Mike is a very nice host and we had some good talks, he made us lovely dinner and breakfast and helped us if needed and provided recommendations and directions.

Very tastefully appointed and very large room in a separate cottage. excellent beds. nice restaurant, springbock roaming on the property. nice outoor sitting area with a good view of the property. Very nice restaurant with an excellent menu. I had one of the best roasted chicken there ever. Breakfast also recommendable. Attentive and friendly service. My wife was sick from a bad mussel at another restaurant and the manager went out of his way to help with special teas and bread. at no charge at all. Thank you again, as I did not see you the next day at our departure

the view was amazing, the staff were friendly and nice, and even waited for us even though we checked in late. The food was mind blowing although it did that a while for the mains to arrive, and as a sign that we will return, our bottle of wine is still left with the waitress. The grounds were really beautiful with cottages surrounding artfully landscaped grounds that were filled with birdsong. The chef was truly excellent and we enjoyed our breakfasts and dinners. Our park ranger, Paul MacKenzie, was outstanding. He knew the wildlife really well and had many tales from his interesting life. Rafa, one of the elephants blessed us with his presence at the gate on the day of our game drive and were fortunate to spend a lot of time with one of the lions. The Park concession was very good because it gave us long views. In contrast, during our solo drive from the bottom of Addo to the top, there was large bush obscuring views. I found the staff at River Bend to be really friendly and enjoyed my many conversations with them, particularly time spent talking to Jenna. I also enjoyed talking to Gladys, who worked in the kitchen. She and I share an interest in sewing with Shweshwe. We highly recommend River Bend. It is truly a 5 star experience.

This place is a dream, the location, wildlife and staff! They looked after us with such great attention for personal detail that we truly connected as a family and felt both rested and recharged from all the great memories. Also amazing with kids!! Thank you Shi-Ann and Jacome for being top in communication while organizing it all and the owners for checking in with each and every guest. Eileen and all the ladies from the waiting staff are a true delight and Ranger Lena had so much patience with us to search for all the animals. We will return!
