El 8 on Oregon Boutique Lodge, situado en un entorno tranquilo, junto al bosque protegido y la ruta Conical Hill Walkway, ofrece alojamiento boutique para adultos y aire acondicionado. The view was great. Thoroughly enjoyed the birdlife visiting the beautiful gardens. Very pleasant and helpful hosts. Very clean room with some added touches to make the stay memorable. Loved all of the efforts the hosts are making to be considerate of the environment. Ample breakfast (fresh wild blackberries were amazing!) The garden gate opens onto the Conical Hill track - a lovely 30 min walk through forest on a wide, well maintained track.

It is a nice set up with common kitchen/living room area, also nice to meet other travellers. The room was big and had a comfortable bed. Nice location, with a wonderful beach across the road for walks. You can prepare your own breakfast and there's plenty to choose from.

Spacious, clean & comfortable house. Large well stocked kitchen that made it easy to prepare meals. The view was of both mountains & water. Location is great. Easy to walk both to Kaikoura & South Bay & other tracks. Our host was very responsive & kind. Should we ever find ourselves in Kaikoura again, we would definitely stay here again.
