Honestly, this is the best booking I've ever experienced. Comes with access to 8 acres of land, homemade bread & cookies, and fresh eggs. The room is lovely and Allie was really nice to introduce us to her sheep and chicken.

Featuring an on-site tennis court, The Flying Trout Boutique Lodge is located in Taupo. Each spacious suites offers elegant décor and some provide views of the surrounding alpine area. What a wonderful experience. We loved everything about this place, The food, the hosts and the fabulous view! Exceptionally comfortable place. Well done Roband Karen!

Set in Mapara Valley, adjacent to the stunning Whakaipo Bay Reserve on Lake Taupo, Whakaipo Lodge offers guests free WiFi. Whakaipo Lodge was a superb place to stay in every way. The owners, Garth & Angie went beyond the call to make our stay memorable & easy to highly recommend from the welcome, to the pre dinner drinks & canapes, the sharing of local knowledge & the beautifully presented, comfortable rooms. The breakfast was 10/10 using locally sourced high quality products. The coffee also got a gold star.

Set on 17 acres of countryside on the banks of the Waikato River, Huka Lodge boasts an outdoor swimming pool, a tennis court, free airport transfers and a spa pool. Stunning property situated on the river that runs from Lake Taupo to the Huka Falls. The main lodge is beautifully appointed and provides seating and dining areas inside and outside. The rooms are equally wonderfully, each having access to a Porch, rolling grass and the river view.

The Point Villas are situated in a private estate overlooking the blue waters of Lake Taupo, just 10 minutes’ drive from Taupo town centre. Each villa has its own private mineral heated swimming pool.... Bathrooms were amazing as well as the outdoor entertainment area.

The award-winning River Birches offers secluded, comfort and understated luxury accommodation, set within peaceful gardens on the banks of the Tongariro River. Entire property is beautiful and hosts went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. Highly recommend if looking to enjoy a luxury stay!

This luxury lodge has a quiet location and wonderful views of Lake Taupo and Mount Tauhara. It offers free WiFi and large gardens. Breakfast was done with tremendous care, amazing food and well displayed. Fruits of all sorts + fresh baked croissant + fresh coffee / tea and we were event offered a choice of our preferred meals (omelet / fried eggs / bacon / sausages) that would be cooked as requested. The room was spacious: king bed + dressing table + seating area + fridge + coffee making facilities + shower place + separated toilet + bath tub. The bed was very comfortable and sheets are very soft. There's a lot of other modern facilities: special lightings, ambience radio, etc. Location was about 10 mins drive from city center. Far enough for a good quiet time and close enough for easy access. View from the room is amazing. Residence dogs: Bella (black) + Rufus (white) were such a joy and treat that greets you.

Located in Turangi, 48 km from Mount Ruapehu, and Taranaki Falls reachable within 48 km, Turangi Leisure Lodge offers a terrace, a spa and wellness centre and free WiFi. It’s close to the center of town and the room is very clean and spacious. Free parking too!

Tongariro Lodge is located in 22 acres of secluded grounds, surrounded by a beautiful garden landscape and along the banks of Tongariro River. Loved the place, very peaceful and organized.

Offering views of Lake Taupo and a free full breakfast prepared by a chef, Lake Taupo Lodge provides a relaxing retreat. The family loved the view, the breakfast was amazing!!! Cute dogs!
