The staff provided exceptional guidance so that we could take stunning views of the mountains during sunset. Very high quality breakfast. Overall, exceeded my expectations in this rather remote/resource limited (to a city person at least) location.

Breakfast was great - hand built to order with a lot of fresh and homemade ingredients. Sauna really helped after a day on the mountain. Grounds are beautiful and relaxing. Loved the sheep and alpacas.

Plateau Lodge is located 15 minutes’ drive from UNESCO World Heritage listed Tongariro National Park, where guests can enjoy skiing, hiking, cycling and paddling activities. It was warm, clean, nice and cosy! The room was clean and pleasantly warm - much appreachated at that time! Shared space was very nice, well-organised. Always smiling lady gave us good advice what to see despite not very good weather-thank you :)

Kings Ohakune berjarak 2 menit jalan kaki dari Stasiun Ohakune dan 3 menit jalan kaki dari permulaan Ohakune Mountain Road. Perfect location. Clean and tidy rooms. Nice and warm. The heater was already on for our arrival. Everything you need for a nice stay. Staff were so helpful and welcoming. Couldn't of asked for anything more!! The spa pools were fantastic!!
