When I made the booking, I couldn't fully understand how a lodge could have a full score of "10" on both booking and Google. By the time we had our first meal there, we started to appreciate the effort and care our hosts put into this lovely place and understand why all the guests love this place! The lodge was clean, cozy, well-built, and beautifully decorated, in our guest room, on the deck, in the dining room...everywhere! Our hosts Juan and his wife took great care of us - Juan took us to the floating islands after we arrived at Titikaka and showed us around his neighborhood in the afternoon. He also told us what life is like for his family on the Titikaka. We were served delicious and fresh meals throughout the day in a lovely dining room. Eating in a cozy dining room with a window view of the breathtaking Lake was a memorable experience. We also had a chance to play with two of his kids and their house pets. Everything was lovely, I wish I stayed longer and I look forward to returning to this place!

Puno'da yer alan Titicaca Aruntawi Lodge Peru, göl manzaralı konaklama birimleri ve her gün kahvaltı sunmaktadır. Titicaca Gölü'nün hemen önünde yer alan tesis, şehir merkezine 7 km uzaklıktadır. Eddy and his family are wonderful. They made getting to and from their island so easy (and we had a very early bus when we left). We stayed two nights and whilst this experience may not be for everyone, it has been a highlight of our trip so far. The accommodation is (and has to be) very simple. You're on a floating platform of reeds! But it's a good size, the bed is comfortable and lovely and warm (helped by Eddy's mama's wrapped hot water bottles). It gets COLD at night as others have mentioned but tucked up snugly it doesn't matter. Bathroom facilities are verrrry basic, if you like cold water you're in for a treat. And it really isn't the place for anyone unsteady on their feet. You're walking on planks on top of reeds and climbing uneven stairs. If these are not an issue then treat yourself to a couple of nights there, it's magic. Also, Eddy includes a great 2 hour tour which is a must. He took us out at 10am and we had lunch at one of the other islands (also included).

İki gün boyunca bizi misafir ettikleri Lodge tertemizdi. Kendimizi çok rahat hissettik. Yemekler çok lezzetliydi. Ayrıca kahvaltısı da taze meyveler meyve suları ile zengindi. Göl izerinde yapılacak tüm aktivitelere bizi götürdüler. Köy halkını ziyaret ettik. Yaşamları hakkında bilgi aldık. Cisar bize yaşamlarını uzun uzun anlattı. Sonra isterseniz ücretsiz yerel kıyafetlerle fotoğraf çekilebilirsiniZ. Turist bot dedikleri botlarla gezintiye çıktık. Öğleden sonra balıkçılık yaptıkları yere kendi kullandıkları botlarla gittik. En güzel tarafı terasta göle bakan kısımda müthiş manzarada dinlenmek. İnternet Lodge 'da çekiyor. İnternet yok sanmıştım ama varmış. Telefonlar da çekiyor. Benim gibi seyahat ederken çalışanlar için çok önemli bir ayrıntı olabilir bu kısım. Tesiste elektrik inverter yardımıyla sağlanıyor ortak alanda şarz edebilirsiniz telefon ve tabletlerinizi. Her gün temizlik yapıldı odada. İhtiyacı olabilecekler için oksijen tüpü de var. Göl 3800 metrede ve irtifa sorunu yaşarsanız oksijen tüpünü kullanabilirsiniz. Bu arada şehre ulaşmak büyük sorun değil. 15-20 dakika da motorlu tekne ile ulaşabilirsiniz. Terminalden bizi aldıkları iskeleye kadar transfer taksi ayarladılar bizim için. Bu büyük kolaylıktı. Ve gece çok geç geldiğimiz halde bizim için akşam yemeği hazırladılar. Otobüsümüz erken saatte olduğu için de normal saatten daha erken bizim için kahvaltı hazırladılar. İhtiyaçlarınıza göre davranıyorlar. Ve sizi iyi hissettirmek için ellerinden geleni yapıyorlar. Geceleri sıcak su şişesi verdiler ısınmak için. Çok düşünceli bir hareket. Odada tüple ısınan soba var. Kokusundan dolayı sürekli yakmak mümkün değil. Sıcak su şişesi iyi iş gördü. Sakin ve dingin bir zaman geçirmek, uyandığınızda her tarafı cam odamızdan gölü görmek ,ördekleri izlemek için Cesar ve Lily 'nin misafirleri olun derim. Bize veda ederken verdikleri küçük hediyeyi hayatım boyunca saklayacağım. Teşekkür ederim size güzel insanlar.

Puno sahilinden 30 dakikalık bir yelken yolculuğu mesafesinde, Uros'un yüzen adalarında inşa edilmiş olan UROS TITICACA LODGE Puno Peru, dünyanın en yüksek ve hareketli gölünde konaklama olanağı... What a magical place! What Ivan and his family have built is truly amazing: from the comfortable rooms with bio toilets and hot water shower, the super nice sun (and star gazing) decks with hammocks and sunbeds, to the spacious lobby and dining area. On top of that, Ivan and his family are super nice and attentive hosts, and listening to their stories was a true highlight of our stay. Please be aware that they’re literally sharing their home and their resources with you. A home that requires a lot of maintenance and constant care, and resources that are definitely not as easy to acquire as the centralized electricity and drinkable tap water that some of us are accustomed to. That deserves immense respect and consideration. This island is quite far from the more touristy part of the Puno side of the Titicaca lake (about 15 mins by boat). This means that you’ll really get to experience how these communities live, as well as the silence and beautiful nature around you. However, this also means that you have to come very well prepared and dress accordingly, as the boat ride will be chilly - although blankets are provided on the boat to keep you warm - but also breathtakingly beautiful. I have never written such a long review and there’s really so much more I would like to say about this magicalw place but if there is one thing I’d like all future visitors of Uros Titicaca Lodge to know is this: this i s their home, and their way of life, which they hold dear above all else. So be kind. And dress properly ;)

The room was fab, better than we expected. Everything was very clean, a lovely hot shower and plenty of blankets for the cold nights. The dinner and breakfast was nice and the family here are so welcoming and friendly.
