Natasja was so welcoming when we arrived. She was happy to organise game drives and the boat safari for us and share her tips for the area and give us recommendations for nice restaurants. As two 30-year-old girls traveling together, we felt very safe at the lodge. When we mentioned something was broken in the room, it was fixed straight away. The rooms were perfectly cleaned every day while we were out exploring. The braai and outside kitchen was our favorite thing to come back to, to cook our dinner and relax with a glass of wine watching the sunset and scenery from our little patio. We will definitely recommend the lodge to friends and family and we hope to be back very soon! Thank you :)

MILIMA Big 5 Safari Lodge er staðsett í 36 km fjarlægð frá Olifants West Game Reserve og býður upp á gistirými, veitingastað, útisundlaug, garð og sameiginlega setustofu. Milima lodge was an excellent choice. I will never forget the staff, specially our guide and the restaurant staff, for its great passion and constant capacity of making you feel special. The location also has to be mentioned. I remember sitting outside our tent in my pijama and just seeing passing almost all big 5. The food and every meal experience were just AMAZING!!

African Flair Boutique Safari Lodge í Hoedspruit býður upp á fjallaútsýni, gistirými, útisundlaug, garð, sameiginlega setustofu, verönd og bar. This place is a little gem. Perfect location, right next to incredible reserves in greater Kruger. One day we woke up to giraffes right at our doorstep. The owner is absolutely lovely, helpful and attentive to every detail. She helped us arrange all our outings, food orders and everything we asked. The food she made was the most delicious we had in South Africa, even compared to our 5 star JHB hotel. We are vegetarian and have some food allergies and she catered to every need. The room itself is gorgeous with one indoor and one outdoor shower, and one indoor and one outdoor bed to watch the milky way at night and hear the lions roar. Truly magical.

Linvale Country Lodge er staðsett í 10 km fjarlægð frá Kruger Park Lodge-golfklúbbnum og býður upp á gistirými, veitingastað, útisundlaug, garð og sameiginlega setustofu. Tammy and Gideon treated us like royalty, before check in Tammy called to ask if its okay to give us a room with a double bed instead of twins like we booked. Our check in was flawless-since they don't serve dinner Tammy offered to cook for us or go and collect our meals from the restuarants where we ordered our food of which she did . Gideon was our braai master for 2 nights while Tammy kept the drinks coming lol. She prepared breakfast packs for us during our stay as we had excursions we did very early in the morning and she would add a hand written note to wish us a great day . The rooms were spacious and clean ,wifi connection is great . Their bio on their instagram page says "we have passion for tourism" I can vouch for that they do have passion for tourism you don't go the extra mile and give that level of service with a huge smile on your face unless its something that you love or passinate about . We loved it so much that we decided to go back next year .I have alot of great things to say ....if you want an affordable place with exeptional service and value for money Linvale Country Lodge is the place to go .

Beautifully designed and maintained self-catering lodge in the best possible position - literally less than 5 minutes to the Paul Kruger gate. The huge glass sliding doors and outside sitting areas are a big plus. Quality finishes throughout, comfortable beds and enough hot water for six. Clint and his team are extremely professional and helpful and pay attention to every detail. Excellent communication. Best self-catering option we’ve stayed at in many years of visiting the Kruger Park, with the restaurant and pool of the Protea Marriot Hotel a short walk away.

Oase by 7 Star Lodges - Greater Kruger Private 530ha Reserve er staðsett í Hoedspruit og býður upp á garðútsýni, veitingastað, sameiginlega setustofu, bar, garð, útisundlaug sem er opin allt árið um... It was wonderful! Such a nice place. They really did a great job. We had a great movie night with popcorn and chocolate. All the food was so delicious We did an adventure game drive and saw a lot of animals. The sunset tour with drinks and snacks was also magnificent Octavia was so kind. She think of everything

Bushbaby Valley Lodge er í 14 km fjarlægð frá Kruger Park Lodge-golfklúbbnum og býður upp á gistirými, veitingastað, útisundlaug, garð og verönd. Ókeypis WiFi og ókeypis einkabílastæði eru í boði. “Bushbaby Valley Lodge” lovely location, was a little further than we though but worth the effort. We stayed 5 nights, and the staff were fantastic, accommodation was more than ample, clean, and tidy. Thoroughly recommend “Bushbaby Valley Lodge”. If you’re into activities or experiences, then there plenty locally. Thanks for a great time.

Isambane Camp í Balule Game Reserve býður upp á gistirými með fjallaútsýni, útisundlaug, garð, sameiginlega setustofu, verönd og bar. Ókeypis WiFi og ókeypis einkabílastæði eru í boði. I stayed for 6 nights and every single day was special! I was looking for something small, private and isolated in contrast to the typical "see the big 5 plans" in order to enjoy what the bush has to offer, and my expectations were absolutely exceeded. The staff is simply amazing. Ed and Ivone are amazing hosts! Ed is an amazing guide and apart from knowing everything about the bush, he really knows how to transfer his knowledge to his guests in a very passionate and genuine way. Ivone is very friendly, helpful and she always wanted to make sure that we were having a good time while we were in the camp. Sibu and Eunita were very sweet and they cooked delicious meals for us! Our last game drive was carried out with Tim who was also very knowledgeable and friendly :) The camp is beautiful and the way it is built respect the environment where is located; somehow open and mainly made of wood. During our game drives we were fortunate to see a lot of game and Ed gave us amazing explanations from a wide range of subjects, apart from sharing his personal experience from his time in the bush, which I really appreciated.
