The hotel is an efficiently run place to stay, the breakfast was very good and the staff were always on hand to help. We were pleasantly surprised by the location and felt very welcome, definitely a place we will return to. Some really good places to eat very close.

The coffee served was rich, aromatic, and invigorating – just what one needs to kick off a fantastic morning. Overall, this hotel's experience is a delightful, very quite place, a lot off green around, great swimming pool, super nice staff. Few words about restaurant where we had few dinners , it was delicious Catalan meals , various every day, highly recommended place.

Casa Marcial (adults only) is located in the beautiful town of Besalú, just 100 metres from the mediaeval bridge. This property offers a garden with an outdoor pool and great views. It's a beautiful property, the room was very clean. The free breakfast is a nice touch and Gemma at the front desk was very helpful and kind.

The room, common areas and surrounding countryside are beautiful. The staff are wonderful. The Volcano gin and tonic is one of the finest cocktails I’ve had in years.

A lovely self-built wooden building, with some excellent self-built furniture. A shower so good I had to turn down the pressure; really comfortable large double bed. Lovely views outside the windows of the spacious and comfortable guests' common room. Great location for visiting Besalu, which is lovely, and the Garrotxa, an area of beautiful woods and dormant volcanic peaks. The restaurant literally over the road provided excellent food in a very friendly environment. Finally our hostess was very friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Hotel Rural & Spa Mas Prat ligger i bjergbyen Castellar de la Muntanya, lige uden for naturreservatet Garrotxa. Dette landsted har restaurant og værelser med egen balkon. This was absolutely a magical place. Wow! We really enjoyed our stay. Also thanks to our upgrade. The room and the views are wonderful and the family is very kind. We also enjoyed the food and the spa! We definitely recommend this place if you want to enjoy nature in a quite place. We did not mind the road to travel there. It is a beautiful place in the hills!
