My room was clean, spacious, quiet, and had a phenomenal sunset view. The bed was very comfortable as well. I travelled solo to Lalibela and this hotel felt very safe. The hotel manager Belay was very responsive to all my questions/concerns and helped me with everything I needed during my stay from walking me to where I wanted to go to lending me an electrical adapter. The hotel itself is around 5-7 minute tuk tuk ride from the churches (so rather close but away from the town center so it’s quiet and peaceful). I would definitely stay here again!

Great cute hotel in hilltop with great view, with spacious and confortable rooms with local ethiopian decoration. The staff is very professional, attentative and friendly. Easy transfer from/to airport. Also they serve delicious local food and drinks inside the hotel and they offer tours.

Objekat FikirandRay Lodge, koji se nalazi u gradu Lalibela, na 1 min. I loved staying at Fikir and Ray. The lodge itself is beautiful, and my room had lovely views towards the country side. It is located about 15 mins by foot from Lalibela's central area. The hotel arranged my transport from/to the airport, and my guide (Girma) met me there and was extremely helpful throughout my stay both with activities in Lalibela and a person problem I had. The owner, Abebe, also helped me with all the above and is extremely kind. Breakfast was at a nearby sister hotel, which also provided wifi as there are some problems with local connections. The staff at both hotels were incredibly kind and I would, and already have, recommended this to friends.

Objekat Panoramic View Hotel, koji je smešten u gradu Lalibela, na 9 min. I had an overall excellent experiences ! There were friendly staff's , nice view as the name indicate its beyond panoramic , delicious food including their free breakfast , as local people's told me that one regional rebel groups were patrolled the town for more than six months , and fought with government trops due to this many infrastructure damaged like electricities and it has not been reconstructed yet , but i don't pass without appreciating unlike the other hotel's Panoramic View Hotel , Lalibela -they have 24/7 standby generator which give power for the entire of the hotel compound, as the gas station isn't working yet due to the power ,thus they brought fuel for the generator from the local people as a black market , even though there is shortage of water supply but still panoramic view have enough water ....they generally provide excellent hospitality services ! Highly recommended place if you had the chance to visit Lalibela ( finger crossed ) Kathy

My room at the Alef Paradise hotel had a really beautiful view that I could enjoy from my own little patio. The staff were all very nice and helpful and even set me up with a local guide and transport before I arrived. The free breakfast was really delicious - especially the coffee! Overall, the Alef Paradise hotel is a great value for money and I would definitely recommend to future visitors! To note: the power is only on at certain times of day (evening and potentially a few hours in the morning) but that's more a function of power in the town and not due to Alef Paradise Hotel. Just plan to charge your things at night or have a power bank with you.
