We stopped in Chettinadu to take a break in between places since we had a long drive and it revealed to be one of the nicest moments of the trip if you want to take a break. The staff was simply amazing and available, but also informed on the heritage of the town and the palace. Service was equally great, the gardens, and pool were dreamy, the room was extremely spacious and extra clean. Personally, I loved the little details like finding good quality soaps, moisturizers and coconut oil at your disposal! Both in the morning and afternoon there was free tea and coffee, also the hotel organizes activities during the day, like a cooking class, visits to the town, etc. You really won't get bored!

Molto interessanti i siti antichi, in un angolo tranquillo del Tamil Nadu, fuori dalla confusione delle grandi città. Il parco con i templi rupestri (Arjuna Penance, etc.) potrebbe essere più curato.

Beautiful stay! Hotel Park is a perfect place to stay in chennai.It is close to the center and the railway station. The room was very pleasant, it was cozy and clean. Breakfast was excellent and incredibly varied. The hotel team has always been friendly, patient and helpful. That impressed me the most. No matter what time of day or night, you could turn to them with all your concerns. On my next stays, I will definitely check into Hotel park again. The price performance ratio is very good." The apartment is located very near to Renganatha Swami Temple (walkable distance) and can be located without much fuss. Not too far away from the National Highway. Highly recommended for stays with family. Facility is very well maintained. There are two separate bedrooms, bathrooms and one large hall with sofas, TV etc. Kitchen is equipped with stove and utensils. The care taker was very polite and helpful. We planned to reach by 11 PM but reached only by 1:30 AM. However out call was attended in just two rings and the gentleman was very polite. Special Note: Make sure that you read and memorise the address properly. The location shared in Booking.com will lead you to the building (Ganapathi Flats) in which the apartment is located. You will not be able to locate Srirangam name anywhere. There is an excellent vegetarian restaurant very near to the facility (Archana's Vegetarian) on the way to the temple.

The villas with the balcony and the super roomy outdoorsy toilet and bathroom were extremely spacious. The daily provision of fruit and other supplies was a fantastic touch. The fit and finish of the rooms were exceptional. Plug points were fit for multiple foreign plug types. The lighting within the room was done to luxury specifications. The bed and pillows were super comfy. The foyer around the reception were a great place to hang out and catch the breeze. The dining facility was well tastefully appointed. The buffets on offer were elaborate, and the live cooking station promptly provided the extras. The staff were uniformly helpful and obliging. The security staff made reassuring calls on residents in the late evenings especially at the far flung guest facilities in a very dispersed property. The multiple aphorisms put up on boards provided titillation as well as wisdom. The large well lit bridge across a valley and a few covered look out points add a nice touch to premises. The long drive into the resort is in itself a lovely feature, with mountain peaks, valleys and tea and coffee plantations providing plenty of interest. The cherry on the cake was their in house naturalist, Mahesh, and his retinue of staff, who took the experience of the interested residents to the next level. Extremely well informed, he could provide insights of a tropical forest trail, and also provide a bird spotting walk in ways that would provide information not commonly procured in India. Mahesh is a true eco warrior, and a great credit to this facility. As it happened, our enthusiasm spurred him on to lay out a deep jungle walk that will be etched in our minds for ever. He even managed photographs from the walk, one of which was framed and gifted to us as a memento! What a lovely touch it was!
