Hotel 1001 Nott öppnade i juni 2018 och erbjuder modernt boende 5 km från Egilsstadir. Hotellet har bubbelpooler utomhus med utsikt över sjön Lagarfljót. Hotellet har även en bar. Rummen har platt-TV.... Fantastiskt läge, arkitektur och mycket trevlig och hjälpsam personal.

Detta hotell ligger på en renoverad bondgård vid sjön Lagarfljót i byn Eglisstadir. Här erbjuds ljusa och moderna rum med platt-TV, gratis WiFi och eget badrum med dusch. Everything was good. Room was clean and spacious. Very tasty breakfast, compared to other places there were also warm options, which is rather not standard in Iceland. Very nice breakfast staff. We liked the bar where you can buy some beer or wine. The hotel is situated in a nice spot by the lake, but also not far from everything. The bathroom is equipped with organic hair and body cleansing cosmetics of the very good Icelandic brand Sóley Organics, which we like very much. There is also a restaurant in the facility, unfortunately we spent whole days on our trips, so in none of the two days we were able to try their specialties, but maybe next time we will do it. There is also a spa, but here is the same as for the restaurant, we cannot comment, our plan was very tight. However, there is such an option.

Hotel Stadarborg is in Breiddalur Valley, next to Road 1 and less than a 1-hour drive from Egilsstadir. Awesome place. Nice restaurant, good location visiting the east coast. We got a small cottage with kitchenette. Beautiful place.

It had everything we needed. We enjoyed all the food! The rooms were spacious and quiet. The staff was knowledgeable and helped us find a good restaurant on town. We recommend this hotel.

Set in Seydisfjördur village, this accommodation offers rooms with free WiFi. Egilsstadir village is 28 km away. The property also offers on-site free parking. a nice historical place to stay in this town, strongly recommend this place. We happened to be in a storm when we arrived, and the staff were very nice and instructed clearly about our room, and where to eat, and was very helpful. The room was inside a historical building just next to the blue church! The room was just as shown on booking.com, and the bathroom was clean and tidy. Breakfast at the local gas station is strongly advised!!!!!
