What a great place! The room was beautifully furnished and very comfortable. It even had Netflix on the tv. But the best was the balcony with comfortable lounge chairs, where you could sit in afternoon and evening and enjoy a book and the great view. The staff and manager were very attentive as well. You cannot walk to Ella center, but it is a short tuktuk ride away. We would prefer stay in a place more calm and not in the busy town anyway. Would definitely recommend staying here while in Ella!

Upali (and the rest of his family) are the best hosts and will go above and beyond to make your stay perfect. We stayed for four nights and Upali took us with our tuktuk to some of the waterfalls and tempels nearby. The accommodation is super clean, breakfast is amazing. The view of the bungalow is stunning. Thank you for making the best out of our stay.

Cozy cottage is the ideal place to recharge your batteries in the middle of nature! The cottage is located a bit away from Ella City (too many tourists, too much hustle and bustle!). Viraj, the hotel manager, picked us up where the taxi driver had left us. Viraj really cares about his guests and is extremely welcoming! My husband and I were also very warmly received by the staff, who were always smiling and friendly. We booked the room with a view of Ella Rock View Point: just breathtaking! The room was clean and spacious with an en-suite bathroom. The sunrise and sunset from the balcony are a marvel 😌 . Kitalella train station is a few metres from the cottage and it is from here that the path to Ella Rock view point is taken. Viraj organized a guide for us to go sightseeing in Ella: temples, Nine Arches Bridge, Little Adam's Peak, Ravana Zipline... Nirmal(our guide) is a childhood friend of Viraj and knows the area very well. We had a wonderful, happy and funny day with Nirmal. We highly recommend him! Last but not least: the staff at cozy cottage really go out of their way for their guests!

The location is lovely, although the road to the hotel is a bit narrow with lots of corners (as it's in the mountain). The cottages looked cute from the outside. The bathroom was okay. I like how it has 3 parts. It was quite and peaceful (this might depend on your neighbors, we had neighbors, but we didn't hear them). We saw lots of squirrels from our balcony and the restaurant, so adorable. When we went to the little town, we walked passed the tea fields. Very beautiful.
