To us this was an outstanding experience: we had a spacious room facing a beautiful garden which was visited by chipmunks and various bird species as well as a swimming lake (including sun set view). For the lake, the resort offered free to use SUPs, canoes, kajacs etc. and safety gear. After hikes into the close by Algonquin national park, the resort and lake was the perfect cool down location. The owners were extremely forthcoming, even though they suffered from lack of service staff - consequently we only once could use their breakfast offers. However, in the vicinity ( 15- 10 min by car) there were alternative breakfast places, some restaurants and a grocery store. Highly recommended for a 1st short hike or for a late afternoon trail run: the Oxtongue rapids.

It‘s a beautiful place with a lot of cool things to do. The pool was great and the Cottage with the fireplace really nice. Everything was great and we would come back another time.

Great staff location was beautiful and the rooms had everything you needed. Relaxed comfortable stay with all staff being helpful. it was our first time but we will be returning. The location was excellent, the weather was excellent, and the amenities were perfect. We did so much in one day it was hard to squeeze anything else in. Lots to do for everyone's liking.
