Check in was wonderful with a lovely gent that spoke perfect English The room was spacious, had lovely decor, was very comfortable and with great views The location is very central right in close walking distance to the train station and a number of shopping areas The onsen was great if a little crowded

Situated right on the coast and offering indoor/outdoor hot spring baths with a panoramic view of Beppu Bay, Spa and Resport Hotel Solage Oita Hiji is located a 15-minute car ride from JR Hiji Train... Onsen here is so nice. The outdoor onsen is so relaxing. I preferred the room without shower more.
