Set within a 100-hectare farm, Summerfields has riverside rooms with outdoor showers. The pool, open-air spa area and restaurant are by Sabie River, where hippos bathe at dusk. The temperature was lovely, as everything was under a luscious canopy of green.

To be honest, we liked everything! Breakfast and dinner each day was excellent, with great choice and fantastic staff engaging with guests. Location is perfect; Kruger Park is less than 20 minutes away and Blyde River Canyon just over an hour away. We love our golf and the on-site 18 hole golf course and facilities are superb and offer amazing value for money. The course is in terrific condition and the noise of hippos in the dam constantly reminds you you're in South Africa! All staff and the management team are on the ball, friendly and this adds to the overall experience. We stayed 4 nights and wish we had booked more!

This beautiful and spacious lifestyle resort is located on the banks of the scenic Sabie River in Big Game country, and within easy driving distance from the world-famous Kruger National Park. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the view from the room was so beautiful and peaceful. The faculties were great too, the massage we had at the spa was incredible and relaxing. The staff were extremely helpful and the game drive we booked with Solly the game ranger was fantastic! We will be back again for sure!

Mount Sheba is located 30 minutes' drive from the historical town of Pilgrim's Rest. Surrounded by rain forest, the hotel offers a variety of leisure activities. Incredible place,specially for nature lovers and Bird watchers. Great food at good prices, and room, gardens, trails, pool,..., makes a pleisure to be there.

Situated on the banks of the Sabie River, Aan De Vliet Holiday Resort features panoramic views of the indigenous bush. It also offers a landscaped garden and outdoor swimming pool with volleyball net.... Location next to the Sabie river is gorgeous. So relaxing. The bungalows are well maintained and contain everything you need. There is a wonderful play area for children. The grounds are impeccable. The staff were fantastic and went out of their way to accommodate us when we decided to extend our stay. We will definitely be back! Thank you Aan de Vliet.

The resort has lots of extra amenities and activities which we enjoyed on the days not visiting the Park. The kids really enjoyed the tennis courts and mini golf and we felt very safe. The hippos and crocodiles in the pond nearby also made it feel wonderfully authentic.
