Positive section of review
Small, but clean room with modern bathroom and aircon unit. Quiet location so good night sleep guaranteed. Very steep and narrow steps (like everywhere else in Amsterdam), but has a tiny mini lift which is an amusment on its own . Nice staff in reception, you can leave the luggage before/after checknin/checkout. Located around 35 minutes walk from the Central station and 30 from Dam square, but plenty bars, cafes and shops on the way so feels like you are in the centre of it.

Great hotel & very handy for the metro into the city centre. We didn't eat here so can't rate the food. Staff were pleasant & bar area is nice. Modern decor. Nice touch with the Kevin Murphy toiletries in the ensuite.

The location was excellent, and the staff was friendly and helpful. However, we later discovered a torn bedsheet on the bed. Upon notifying the reception, they offered us a complimentary late checkout as a gesture of apology.

The breakfast was mediocre. There were basic facilities missing in the room, such as a phone for contacting reception. On the first day, there was no room service, prompting us to complain. We were moved to a new room, which was satisfactory, but inconvenient as we had to repack. Both rooms had dirty sofa chairs. Additionally, there was slow drainage in the shower and the washroom was unclean. We also discovered a torn bedsheet, which we reported to the staff

Room is okay, bed is very comfortable. Breakfast is extraordinary super. Staff very friendly. Location very nice - just on the dunes and the beach.

No aircon, so in summer will be very hot. Just one elevator so somethimes long queues.
