How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Walking from the airport to and from the hotel wasn’t intuitive and parts of the path were not paved.
The location is walking distance to the hotel. Property is dates but the room was clean and shower pressure very good. Breakfast was additional 12euro and satisfactory.

Really easy to find. Although it was right next to the airport, it was very quiet. Clean, spacious room with comfy bed. Receptionist was very friendly and helpful and booked us a table for dinner, where the quality of food was very good. Great location for us to start our Camino Del Norte journey.

Not great lighting around the rooms if you're arriving late. Could make solo travelers uneasy. Booking.com has reception hours listed which made me panic as my flight was delayed. However, after emailing them, their reception is open 24 hours. This needs to be changed on the booking site to avoid confusion.
Close to airport and bus stop to Bayonne.

Nothing to complain about it. May be it is nice to put a curtain in the shower.
The hotel is the best for who needs to be close to the airport. The restaurant and breakfast are great. Th size of the bedroom is also good.

On a late arrival due to delayed flight the staff were fantastic. Friendly, welcoming and happy to help. Managed to get hot meal despite the restaurant closing as I arrived. Location for buses to surrounding area the following morning couldn't be better. Best airport Hotel stay I've had.

Distance - this is misleading on the website as it is definitely not 5 miles. However, you can get a bus from the airport to the city centre.

Not many international channels on TV
We had stayed at this hotel before and the experience was great again. Very close to the airport (5 mins walk) and bus stops to the centre and to other nearby towns. The room is a bit small but the bed is comfy and the bathroom is clean and works well. Breakfast is fantastic and starts very early to facilitate early travelling. Staff were very nice and attentive and they let us check in a bit earlier than normal hours. We recommend 100% and will come back for sure

Near a busy road, air quality bad. Google maps took me to a vets clinic at the previous roundabout, fortunately a nurse directed me.
Had fairly low expectations, but hotel was fine for a quick overnight stop, adjacent restaurant ok but expensive. Was able to park near to the room. hotel style most like an American motel.

The hotel has NO LIFT - I wasn't aware of that when we booked and we were on the 2nd floor. The accommodation is in a separate building beside the reception/restaurant area so we were walking up an exterior staircase to get to the room. The room listed 2 english language channels but they weren't accessible & reception staff couldn't help. There was a small step into the room which wasn't obvious nor was there a warning outside about it. I tripped twice going in & out. There is a mention of public transport into Biarritz but it is virtually non existent.
The room was clean & comfortable. The staff were generally nice. It was not too expensive.
