Loved this hotel - fantastic renovation of the 1920s building which has retained its elegance and beautiful features - we loved our room overlooking the sea front - great shower and nice to have a bath as well. All staff were very helpful and friendly. Excellent breakfast and would definitely recommend Frenchies if you like good food - lovely restaurant and excellent service. Added bonus to have the outdoor pool. Golf club just across the road and a lovely little walk to the lighthouse with great views of the cliff tops and the town. Loved this hotel - great place to stay in Biaritz

Atrium area had terrible music playing at night time , bar staff didn't warn anyone that the bar closed at 22.30pm. Would be better to not bother with nightcap if not improved. Seating not very comfortable. Toilet in our room has an airplane vibe about it as far too tight.

Lovely reception staff welcome upon arrival, enjoyed a great breakfast. Hotel is beautiful inside. Room a had a great view with a very comfortable bed.

It was a shame we weren’t notified that the pool was closed prior to arrival. Part of the reason for booking and paying for the hotel was the pool so not to have it available was disappointing. The pool across at the sister hotel was offered but that was not the expectation.

Staff were very helpful. Food and drinks were great, especially the Sunday brunch. Always clean and tidy.

Breakfast could be more varied. The food at the restaurant was tasty but there is nothing suitable for young children on the menu. Also, the elevator was broken. Had to ask for help with a pram each time I went in and out of the hotel.

Beautiful hotel with a lovely sea themed design. The room was very specious, loved the bed linen.

There is nothing I can fault about this property! Every little detail has been thought of, staff were very friendly to foreign visitors, restaurant and rooms amazing! Couldn’t recommend more!

Music in main area a bit too noisy and club like at times.

Reception staff were highly professional, attentive and friendly. Managers fantastic. Loved the sea view through port hole style window. Gorgeous decor & bathroom facilities & toiletries excellent quality. Housekeeping second to none. Friendly & efficient. We dined in twice, both very enjoyable meals. Live music over weekend added bonus. Location second to none, on elegant hill surrounded by historical Villa & lighthouse on top. Easy downhill walk to town & beaches. We found a couple of great bars & bakeries close by. Husband & son used the basement gym and we all loved the pool terrace. Nice boutique shop next to it and there is a Spa. Parking available although we didn’t use. Taxi from airport about €40 but not a long journey. Bus to Anglet and Bayonne five mins away. Very reasonable & we took 5 bus back to airport.

The lift was out of order for the stay making it difficult to carry luggage up the stairs. There was no parking available (a specific reason for booking). The gym would benefit from additional equipment.

They redid everything and I found that the hotel has unfortunately lost some of its previous charm, particularily the hall and the bar... The bathroom lacks storage. I had to put my things on the floor even though I booked in a suit. The shower head was unsuitable and the water flow very weak. There are no enough power outlets in the room. The room lacks lamps and I find it a little dark I didn't really like the new design but that's personal.

The hotel is comfortable. For some rooms (not all of them), you can have a nice view on the sea. The breakfast is good and the dinner was very good (good chef).

The patio hotel had good food but very little of choices. The star restaurant looked nice but super expensive for a one night stopover, curious to check it one day :-)

Bathroom faucets are very hard to open/closed due to a poor design.

Location is convenient and quiet when on the Golf side. Staff is very nice and room and clean and well designed.

The staff at reception was a bit out of focus. They booked our taxi the wrong day, we also left a boogie board on the premises during check out and still have not received word on return. Some spoke very little English - and for an international hotel, they need better understanding of the guests.
