How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

This location was fantastic! We were welcomed with a big smile, so much care and attention to details. I told them it s a birthday surprise for my mother and when we did the check in we had baloons and birthday card for my mom. I was so impressed! The room is great, super big bathroom, amazing shower, all the facilities you might need. The location is also great, 5 min walking to the beach, 7 min to the center, port. Closby coffee shop, bakery, supermarket. If coming back to Naxos ever again, i will choose this location for sure! Thank you for an amazing holiday!

The owner was so kind! The room was cleaned everyday and she left snacks and even folded my messy clothes. She also helped us call a taxi. The room was nicer than my $300/night hotel in Mykonos, and it’s very close to the downtown area. I would definitely stay here again.

The rooms look exactly as pictured, lovely decor. Fantastic location five minutes from a beach by foot and ten min walk to the center of the port town of Chora. Our hostess Irini was so helpful and friendly. Would Absolutely return here!

I absolutely hated the bathroom door. That sounds strange but the bathroom was very small and this was a heavy glass door that opened inward, blocking space to stand comfortably at the sink or get to the towel behind the door. The room is tiny but the door was a bad choice.
We loved the neighbourhood. It was convenient to everything, except perhaps the castle, which was a bit of a distance and opposite side of Chora for the lift. Eirini was very sweet and helpful, although not there always. We didn't need her to be for us, but perhaps someone who didn't know Naxos might. The room was light, bright, airy. Everything new. Eirini offered us another larger room for our last night but we couldn't see the point of packing up and moving. We spend most of our time out.

This accommodation was the perfect base for our 4 days in Naxos. The room was beautiful and very clean. The location was unbeatable as it's only a 5 min walk to the beach and the central area. Despite this it is located in a quiet street. Host was super friendly and helpful. Great value!

Absolutely everything. There are no words and ratings to evaluate the experience that we had at elite suites. To start with, the location is great, very close to the beach and within walking distance to the city center. Then, the cleanliness and the attention to details. The place is wonderfully decorated, with everything that one could need to have a lovely vacation. Every day we had coffee in the room, water and sweets and attentions prepared by our guest. Then, the cleanliness of the place - every day we had someone cleaning our room very thoroughly. Then, the view was amazing. We woke up every morning seeing the sea and spent relaxing evenings in the lovely jacuzzi we had in our room. And not to mention Eirini who is simply amazing, very welcoming, very warm and nice. She made our stay 10++++. If i ever go back to naxos i will definitely choose Eirini's place.

The walls were very thin, we could even ear the shower running from the room next to ours. It’s not very calm, unfortunately you can’t sleep so well.

Our rooms were stunning, comfortable and cleaned daily. Extra little touches with complimentary drinks and snacks. The little kitchen was well equipped with a coffee machine and kettle. The owner was just lovely, so friendly and helpful and gave us all a little pressie when we left. Our whole stay was exceptional and we didn’t want to leave.

What a wonderful place in Chora! We spent two nights here before returning to Athens and it was the perfect place to explore the town of Chora. The room was lovely, with a spacious balcony and little kitchenette. The hospitality was lovely and we could relax comfortably, close to the centre of the town, while enjoying maximum privacy.
