    “I have been travelling for over 25 years and stayed in a large number of hotels all over the world. When I booked a room at Mr & Mrs White I never expected the room/service/value which I was about to get - my plan was to spend a couple of days on the other part of the island and find affordable accommodation after our first hotel in Mykonos. When we checked in I was struck by the view - it was a perfect overview of the town, with direct sea view and an amazing infinity pool. The room was incredible and easily beats anything I’ve seen so far. Staff were very friendly and welcoming and I felt like a superstar having this level of hospitality. We ended up loving this place much more than the first hotel (or any hotel that I have been in ever for that matter) and cannot recommend it enough. If you read this review then book this hotel and you will thank me later. This is definitely the perfect place to spend your time in Mykonos. This is a family run business that genuinely cares for every resident and goes the extra mile to ensure complete satisfaction at a very affordable price.”

    “we stayed 4 night at the Altana Heritage Suites. the jacuzzi was clean and warm. the view was stunning. Breakfast was good. you can watch the sunset at the terrace comfortably. the nearby environment was quiet. it is located between Fira and Oia. 25 min walk to Fira and the trail has a good View of Santorini. Very helpful staff. The swimming pool had a good panorama view of Santorini.”

    “The room had everything we needed and was very clean. The view from the terrace outside was spectacular, such an amazing place to share a glass of Champagne! The location was fantastic with beautiful restaurants close by, just a short walk to Fira. The staff were super helpful and the breakfast was plentiful. I would definitely stay here again!”

    “My partner and I stayed in this villa a couple of weeks ago. We were absolutely delighted with the huge amount of attention and care to detail as guests by the kind and supportive Arnaud and Thierry. I had sent a message beforehand explaining my allergens, but Arnaud was able to make some gluten free/lactose pastries that I thoroughly enjoyed. They also provided some great recommendations of places to eat during our short stay and helped with advice on car hire, which honestly was above and beyond most hosts we've stayed with. Hugely generous and kind people. The spread of food at breakfast was substantial and varied - a mix of continental and Greek with some wonderful homemade bread and cakes. A highlight was Arnaud's homemade quince jam made from the quince they grow on the property. Unfortunately we didn't get a chance to use the fabulous jacuzzi and pool which was situated on the property, due to our short visit - both of us definitely could have benefited from relaxation time by the pool if we had stayed a few days more. Both my partner and I were incredibly pleased with our choice of stay - we both wanted an idyllic and peaceful property without the bustle and busy nightlife of Mykonos and this villa fitted that criteria perfectly, so we had some perfect rest and relaxation whilst we were there - the private beach a short walk from the property was a lovely touch. The size of our room was wonderful - high ceilings with some incredible views overlooking the coast and Lia Beach. The decor was perfectly matched to the hosts who greeted us - typical Greek villa with a touch of French interior decor - this decor carried on through to the rest of the property, including the comfortable lounge area. The place is decorated with some of Arnaud's paintings which made our stay really feel like we were staying in their home. The size of the bed in our room was very comfortable and perfect for my 6'4" partner!”

    “The staff were amazing! Constantly trying to help us out with information, booking taxis, providing us with detailed information about the beaches on check in. They also figured out it was my wife’s birthday and provided us with a surprise in the room of wine and lovely flowers! Overall very very nice people. The hotel was perfectly located in the main town, not too central which avoided the music of clubs and allowed us a good sleep. It has probably the largest garden area of most of the hotels in town which provided a utopia escape from the busy central town. The value for money was excellent. Oh and a good thing to know! It’s 5 min walk to the main road so really not far to go with your luggage from the a taxi. Thank you everyone at Matina!”

    “I can only agree with the previous reviews, Christina is such a lovely, caring and warm-hearted person. Even though it was the start of the season, she and her team made me feel very welcomed and almost at home. The rooms are spacious and nicely designed, the pool is large and refreshing, the beds are comfy and the view is spectacular, especially for the sunrise above Naxos. Close by there is the new golden beach where you can chill, swim and try your luck at windsurfing and wingfoiling. The adjacent fields are home to an abundance of rabbits that are cute to watch during an afternoon stroll. Great place I definitely recommend. Thanks for an amazing 3-days-stay.”
