Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesThe staff was really nice and when I did interact and conversate they were great (this part could go with the great things) but, there were many, many times they were distracted by cell phones and a few times we thought they shouldn't be talking with the guests and that we were interrupting them. We also told the front desk that we didn't need room cleaning yet each morning the cleaning staff would knock and ask us to clean.
The view and the amenities were lovely. Having the ability to sit at the pool, get some sun and also look out at the sea was so relaxing and opportune. The room was a great size and the balcony in the evenings were so nice. The breakfast options and time was great. Overall, the stay was great!

United StatesI enjoyed everything about this property. I have no negative things to say about it
The facility is gorgeous with incredible views. From the balconies to the pool, definitely a picturesque place to stay in Mykonos. The staff are all incredibly kind, helpful and super attentive. The location is also quite convenient with the little town. Just a five minute walk away and the beach just steps away.

United KingdomIt was a little out of the main town, and to walk into town you had to walk along a road with no pavements and cars would pass quite close.
Beautiful position. Great views. Immaculately clean. Staff all so friendly. Very quiet and peaceful.

NetherlandsThe only thing was that’s not in the city center. So you have to walk 10-12 minutes, which is fine, but it’s less comfortable that staying close by.
The people were awesome, very nice and friendly.

United StatesI stayed in the honeymoon suite expecting luxury. The room was just ok. It was a bit dated. There was a musty odor on the room and the toilet area also had an odor. The room also had an enclosed balcony with a hot tub. We used it twice. One arriving back home I noticed the bathing suits I had worn in the hot tub smelled very musty. Even after washing them they still had an odor. Will have to wash them again. I don’t recommend the honeymoon suite. It wasn’t worth the extra expense.
The views were wonderful. The pool looked very inviting although it was too chilly while I was there to swim.

Location is perfect within walking distance to the old port which was beautiful. Quality of food was great with beach view in the morning.

United KingdomThe walk can be a little tricky at night as the paths at the side of the road are thin but the traffic is light and there’s plenty of people walking the same route!

United StatesOur stay was too short.
This was my favorite property among the 4 that I stayed within 2 weeks. The photos on other websites do not truly show how spectacular the views are from this property and the rooms. The front office staff is truly exceptional and professional. My favorite was the bartender at the pool bar, this gentleman is full of conversations and very quick to recommend locations to visit and or great places to eat. My wife and I were on our honeymoon and this location was spectacular for our honeymoon highlight. She was absolutely stunned by the views from our room overlooking Mykonos port and city. The pool is very nice and has salt water. Let me discuss the breakfast, this is the best breakfast I've had in two weeks and the breakfast staff was very quick to replenish food and they were very polite. I would definitely be going back to this property in the future. Also, the ATV rental through the hotel partners could not be any more convenient. We loved everything about the Grand Beach Hotel!

United KingdomI liked everything. I could not find one fault in our stay.
The staff are incredible. Warm, friendly, welcoming and helpful. Excellent customer service. There is a genuine care for the guests and making sure the guests experience is the best that it can be and it certainly was that. From the hotel reception staff, to the hotel manager, to waiters/waitresses and even the hotel taxi driver, all very friendly and accommodating and made us feel very special. The hotel is very clean and very well looked-after and the daily cleaning service was really good. We stayed in the Panorama Suite with Semi-Private pool which was at the spacious, clean and modern with a very comfortable bed, great shower and a fun outdoor private pool area and space with sun loungers to ensure that we have the sun all day. Whilst we did not try all of the options on the menu, we did have lunch and dinner at the hotel once and the food was excellent. The hotel has a personal taxi driver who is available to take guests to-and-from any destination and he was so accommodating to us, very friendly, and available any time that we needed him to be. Overall… great value for money, excellent customer service, reasonably priced food and beverages and a really nice modern spacious room with all of the facilities needed.

United StatesI wouldn't take the car the hotel provides. They seem to charge 46 euros even if you're just going up the street. Take a taxi, or walk. We had dinner one night at the restaurant. Not the liveliest place The food was fine, but not many people there--probably because there are so many restaurants in town.
Really good location. Maybe 10 minutes to walk to the main part of town (Mykonos doesn't really have sidewalks, so you're kind of just walking in the street. lol). Loved the pool area. Comfy lounges and palapa-like umbrellas. Nice and quiet. Not on beach, but right across the street and a little elevated, so great view of the water. We were in room 204 and the sea view from our large balcony was spectacular. I thought we had booked a twin bed room, but the beds were more like doubles and it was a good amount of space, compared to other rooms in which we stayed in Greece. The included breakfast was also really good.

United StatesI cannot recommend this place enough. Very nice location, only 10 min walk from the Mykonos town and far enough that you are not part of the crowded and noisy downtown. Facility is very nice. Great rooms, enough space, very clean. The pool is clean, with enough beds around for all guests to use. Great view. The bar and restaurant have great menu and service is great. The staff is very helpfull, and goes out their way to make your stay comfortable. You can get a lot of information from them about the island and the city, and good, honest recommendations for the restaurants. You can also book a cruise, car, ATV, etc through them. I have to give a huge thanks and shout out to the receptionist (embarrassed not to know her name). We tried to organize our transportation to the Port via Uber, with plenty of time to spare, but failed miserably. Uber is very unreliable and I would not use it to transfer to the airport or Port. When we were running out of time, and getting desperate to catch a Ferry, receptionist jumped into her own car and gave us a ride to the Port. She went way beyond any expectations. If it wasn't for her we would scramble to find a new Ferry ride and would spend half a day in the Port. Truly priceless. Vey thankful to her.
