Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe first experience of the hotel was the transfer from the airport, which did not arrive. I called the hotel and they resolved the issue quickly, but this became a recurring theme. Each time they had an excuse but one at least one occasion it was evident they hadn't bothered organising the car in the first place. It's no secret that Mykonos has a limited number of taxis, so relying on the hotel's partner car service is essential, but they fell short a lot and the prices are steep. My biggest complaint about the hotel is the attentiveness of the staff. When at the pool or the bar I noticed no staff made an effort to check on guests for drinks, etc or did a lap every now and then so guests could call them over. Instead they stood at the bar and waited for you to come to them, but then acted like it wasn't normal for you to order at the bar rather than your sunbed/table. At breakfast you would have to get the attention of staff to request more water/juice as they (inexplicably) kept this separate from the food and weren't proactive about offering refills. This may seem like a small issue but it is reasonably expected in a hotel with that fifth star.
The hotel was beautiful, very relaxing. The location is perfect, five minutes from anywhere in Mykonos city but still somehow felt quiet and secluded at night. Somehow it was close to everything without being in the middle of everything. The hotel does overlook the ocean and I highly recommend getting a room with an ocean view as it is beautiful. The room was nice, very much as it looks in the photos, sufficiently luxurious, a good size and very clean. There is a beautiful pool area with more than enough sunbeds and fresh towels provided when you arrive. The rooms are serviced daily with fresh towels and a change of bedclothes. Oddly, the highlight of our stay at the hotel was probably the breakfast. I've seen larger selections at a buffet-style breakfast but the quality was second-to-none. The hotel manager told us 90% of the food is sourced from the island or nearby islands, and it shows in the quality and freshness of the food delivered. Normally when we travel we jump between eating breakfast in the hotel and other restraunts nearby but this time we stuck with the hotel after the first day's experience. Generally the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. When we arrived, the hotel manager greeted us and spoke about the history of the hotel and the island for a while; we were definitely made to feel welcome.

United StatesMost everything was awesome, but the bathrooms leave a little to be desired. The shower is just a room with drywall, no tile. It worked fine, so it wasn't a big deal, but it just lacked a bit of the premium feel one might expect at this property.
This hotel has some of the best service we've ever experienced. Upon arriving, we were greeted by the general manager who gave us some history of the area. We were allowed to check in a few hours early and were delighted to find a full bottle of prosecco in the room. That may not sound like much, but given the drink prices on Mykonos, that bottle was worth a king's ransom. The breakfast is outstanding in the morning, and it seems like there are more folks serving you than there are customers in the restaurant. Location is outstanding. Close to everything but far enough away to feel very quiet and relaxing.

United StatesNothing it was AMAZING
The location is the best! Literally steps from the famous windmills and the town. Makes it so easy to walk to shops, restaurants, and nightlife. Even though it is so close to town, the hotel is quiet which is nice for relaxing. It has a gorgeous pool with comfortable loungers and the staff brings free water to you. The staff was so nice and welcoming! We received a welcome drink and got local recommendations which we used. The beds were comfortable and they had a pillow menu if you wanted to change out your pillow! They had a delicious buffet breakfast included but also a chef to make eggs or omelette and the food featured Greek dishes which were all fabulous. I loved that the hotel provided a free transfer from the airport and had access to a car service for when we wanted to go to the beach. The Manager Chris is always walking around making sure the guests are happy and is the nicest man. We loved our stay here and would definitley go back and stay there again when traveling to Mykonos!
