one night money did keep us up as they were fighting on the roof, which for one night was fine. and you are literally in the jungle!

There were many steps which made it very difficult for my parents to get around the property. There were many monkeys and lizards which were also very scary and we had to be very careful to ensure that they don’t get into the rooms. There was also very poor lights throughout the property which was dangerous because of the many steps and especially when it was raining. There were many many bugs and no amount of insect repellent helped

Rooms could use a refresh. There were black powder, like silver fish eating wood, in the room and on our bed.

Air conditioning's wind direction in the room is directly blowing into our faces at night. Hope that this would be improved in the next renovation. Other aspects that are a bit out-of-date including acoustic insulation, lack of latest equipment such as in-room speaker, proper bar tools etc- are acceptable but should be improved to meet the latest luxurious hotel standard.

The remote and layback location and setting in the landscape offer a very exclusive experience but keeping everything simple and to the point. We actually stayed here a few years ago and decided to come back again.

The hotel had construction works going on, in the morning, using power tools, which woke us up on a couple of occasions. The breakfast selection was very limited for the price paid. The AC in the room was not as powerful and fast in cooling as expected.

The overall location of the hotel was amazing and the infinity pool was the cherry on top. The staff were super friendly and helpful.

3 days there is an awesome experience, the staffs are very kind, the jungle view is amazing, and we love their pool as well. we chose to stay in their forest view villa, the view from the window is excellent. if you wanna go to ubud, please try to stay in Alila for some days. you wont regret

The property is dated . Few things need change 1. The air conditioning in the room doesn’t go beyond 23 degrees and it hot . 2. The lighting in the bathroom is very very dim and even in the room. 3. The breakfast needs more options with nuts and other healthy meals.I asked for a scramble with vegetables which was watery 4. The chicken or western meal at the pool restaurant was not good . 5.The bathroom needs a change of toilet seat . 6. The restroom at the lobby is extremely dark and the pit needs change and it can be cleaner .

The location is serene , calm and offbeat amidst lush greens . it’s a bit off from city center so if you are looking for complete relaxation this is the place . The staff is amazing .

They could improve more on organisation of the teams . Intially we were told the breakfast has been paid for then they said it’s not been paid for so there is lot of confusion . They can explain about the facilities in more organised fashion then it would be more nice .
