How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Not enough outlets in room!! People today routinely travel with 1-2-3 things that must be charged overnight and were a couple so we had 5 things My room —229 the light bulb over the sink did not work so impossible yo put makeup on

The shuttle bus was extremely crowded. Could consider operating another bus and reducing the time between shuttles. It is especially difficult for older people or people with children. People and luggage were jammed on and it was chaotic during loading.
Hotel was excellent and staff were very helpful.

The only thing that was a little uncomfortable was that the shuttle bus both from and to the airport was jammed full
Breakfast options where more than expected and offered great variety. Quality of food was high.

No coffee making facilities in the room. Very expensive. Also had to pay for parking.

We expected more from the breakfast considering the price. The location is weird, so you really depend on the shuttle to get to the airport or go to city center.
The room had a good size. The beds were comfortable. The staff was friendly. The shuttle arrived and left on time.

Far from airport and no near by eateries.
The staff was friendly and helpful. The shuttle service from the stay to hotel was very convenient. They provided free coffee and snacks throughout the day. It was very clean and also gave some vouchers based on how often the room service was requested.

Shuttle service got disrupted on 19th May, we were informed last minute. Our fellow hotel guest took us to the airport. Ibis style (Green) is the last stop, it goes to other 2 hotels of Ibis (Red & Blue). Approximately it takes 15 to 20 minutes to and from airport so you can plan accordingly in order to avoid no show on the flight. Other than that there were no issues.
Free shuttle service though it's always full, breakfast was quite good, staff were very friendly, Rooms were not big but good enough. Free coffee in the lobby. This hotel is good for people who need to catch a flight on the following day. Free WIFI was good. I liked the mint on the reception.

The shuttle to the hotel is a disaster. People wait for more than 30 minute and then not even everyone fits in the shuttle.
The hotel is clean and comfortable.

The toilet roll holder was dangerous as it protruded and I cut my h ad badly in it went I bent down to pick up my towel. The fitting type needs to be reviewed. The wardrobe style looked nice but I think asked into during the night when going to the bathroom.
The shuttle bus was a big plus. The staff were friendly and helpful. Restaurant food was tasty but a little pricey. The bed was very comfortable. The room was very quiet despite the location.

The drain in the shower did not work properly, leaving me in a big puddle of water whilst showering and only draining completely once the water was turned off. For the amount of money we paid per night, it is very unfortunate to have experienced the blocked shower drain.
The hotel is very nice and comfortable. We enjoyed the availability of the complimentary hot beverages station in the restaurant lobby. Tastefully decorated.
