Featuring great views of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi, Konanso boasts natural hot spring baths and large Japanese-style rooms with traditional tatami (woven-straw) flooring. We had a fantastic time at Konsano. The private Onsen and dinner in our room were some of the highlights of our trip and they were very accommodating to our dietary requirements. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, special mention to our room clerk Etsuko who made us tea on arrival and served our meal. We were lucky enough to see Mt Fuji on our first day, and the rooftop footbath was much needed after all our exploring!

Boasting views of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi for all rooms and hot-spring baths, Hotel Asafuji provides air-conditioned Japanese-style rooms with a green tea set. The most wonderful stay we have had in a hotel anywhere in the world. The staff in particular were amazing, so genuinely lovely, welcoming, efficient and helpful. We also enjoyed the beautifully prepared and delicious meals. The room itself was more like a suite, so roomy, comfortable and pretty. Then there was the cute bathroom overlooking the lake and Mt Fuji. We felt sad to leave and hope to come back one day soon. Many thanks for everything and also for the little gifts.

L'Oyado Koto No Yume es troba a 2 minuts a peu de l'estació de Takayama i ofereix habitacions d'estil japonès amb un toc de color. wonderful traditional ryokan. Our room was superb, one bedroom, sitting room transformed onto second bedroom for the evening, another small sitting area with tea/coffee making facilities. both public and private onset, laundry room and great breakfast with choice of Japanese or western dishes.

Luxurious ryokan Fuji Onsenji Yumedono is located just 500 metres from Lake Kawaguchiko. Very classic Japanese style hotel. The food is amazing.

Located in a 100 year-old Registered Tangible Cultural Property, Ryokan Hostel K's House is located in Shizuoka, a 7-minute walk from JR Ito Train Station. Traditional inn, old building but extremely clean and warm. I booked room without toilet, glad there is shared toilet on every floor and 1 just outside our room. Common lounge has card and board games, we had great time playing. Staff are polite and helpful, location is near restaurants and Ito station.

Situated 1.5 km from Takayama Station, Iroriyado Hidaya is a recently renovated 4-star accommodation in Takayama, boasting a garden, a shared lounge and private parking. Un hotel molt acollidor, on el personal estava en tot moment molt atent. Per poder disfrutar d'un experiencia amb la tradició japonesa crec que es ideal, per així descobrir la formar en la que vivien o viuen alguns japonesos. Molt recomanable.

Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated Mitsubikiya features accommodation with a garden and free WiFi. The air-conditioned accommodation is 800 metres from Matsumoto Station. Too many things - to name a few 1. The kind consideration of the host. He took great care to understand what activities we wanted to do and provided advice on travel and timing 2. He also ascertained my friends exact dietary preference in advance and served her exceptional food as per her preference 3. Amazing cook. Best japanese traditional brekkie hands down 4. Kind and discreet staff. Exactly what you need in a Ryokan 5. Beautiful facility with the mod cons and old serenity combined It was like being a house guest and being indulged and pampered

Atami Sekaie is set in Atami, 2.6 km from Atami Sun Beach, 25 km from Hakone-Yumoto Station, and 35 km from Shuzen-ji Temple. Breathtaking view, soothing hot water that is all mine-just-mine! The room was spacious and extremely comfortable, they have thought of everything really. Equipped with both a kettle and a coffee machine, multiple hair drying-styling equipment and amenities. The teppanyaki dinner was delicious and included gourmet choices of ingredients and drinks. Staff were extremely attentive and polite. A stay to remember for life.

Located in Oshino and only 10 km from Fuji-Q Highland, 八海 木花館 provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. The location and the view of Mt Fuji at the property was just spectacular. The food and service was impeccable. Nina Lin was sharing with us all the great spots to take photos of Mt Fuji and we really enjoyed our conversations with her. The other older lady was very helpful and hospitable as well and we can't praise them enough for making our stay so memorable!

Situated in Atami in the Shizuoka region with Atami Sun Beach nearby, SOKI ATAMI features accommodation with free private parking, as well as access to a sauna. Entire experience is what we truly appreciated specially the private onsen.
