This is very unique place to have a relaxing time with family and friends. I enjoyed the breakfast and diner in hotel restaurant. I can say that the level of food is like an art. After you enjoyed the dining there, you will fall in love with this hotel. Enjoying the hot spring is also very special moments. Every staff is very friendly and kind to help the customers. I really enjoyed this hotel and I wish that I could come back to this place in someday. Thank you to all staffs.

Beppu Kannawa Onsen HIROMIYA ligger i Kannawa Onsen-kvarteret i Beppu, 26 km fra Oita Bank Dome og 5,5 km fra Beppu Station. The rooms were spacious and very traditional, and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful! The location was close to for example Hyotan Onsen and the Jigoku sights as well as Kannawa bus station for easy access to a quick trip to Myoban as well. Every morning we got boiled onsen eggs outside our door and there were filter coffee bags and hot water in the kitchen. Miho went out of her way to help us out at every turn!

A definite top 5 for me. We got the room with a private one and it was simply so amazing to have that within seconds of your room. Also it felt like the water in the private in room onsens had much more minerals than the large one but the large one is well worth a stay too as it feels so free to be the only one there and gazing upon the mountains as you bathe.

We had the most wonderful stay at Assi. The host is so warm, welcoming, and generous. Even though she couldn't speak much English and we can't speak much Japanese communication was no problem due to her willingness to use a translation app. We stayed in room 1 which is a Japanese-style room with futons. It was so spacious and had everything we needed and more - a kettle and fridge, sofa, even a massage chair (which was heavenly after walking all day) and our own private patio looking our over the beautiful garden. The breakfast was outstanding, prepared with so much care. There is also coffee, tea and snacks in the kitchen, which was very much appreciated. Bathroom facilities are shared but were clean and tidy and all toiletries - even skincare - was provided. We also enjoyed the private onsen. Staying at Assi feels like you're a guest in someone's home in the best possible way.

Boasting mountain views, Ikkoten provides accommodation with an open-air bath, a garden and a shared lounge, around 45 km from Oita Bank Dome. The location and serenity were like none other. The staff was so kind and provided an incredible atmosphere. The food was 12/10, I would go back just to try more seasonal favorites.

Situated in Hita, Okuhita Onsen Umehibiki offers 5-star accommodation with a garden and a bar. Featuring a restaurant, the property also has an open-air bath, as well as a sauna and a hot spring bath.... This is my best accommodation experience in Japan over the years. They made every effort to ensure that guests understood the hotel's details and services, even though not all of the staff spoke foreign languages fluently. Comfortable rooms, breathtaking views, and a personal hot spring are highlights. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the meals. A dedicated private room was available during dinner. Visit again for sure.

Karatsu Seaside Hotel tilbyder overnatning i Higashi Karatsu. Der er restaurant på stedet. The onsen pool on the rooftop was awesome. The spa facilities were huge. You need at least 2 days to enjoy all of them. The basic room without onsen was spacious with an ocean view. Breakfast and dinner at the buffet and restaurants were in good variety and quality with local ingredients. Will love to visit again

Shikinosato Hanamura ligger i Minamioguni og har spabad. Denne ryokan tilbyder gratis privat parkering og døgnåben reception. It was super comfortable to stay here, staff service, facilities, breakfast and dinner were all great. Is a good place to relax.

Syukubo Aso ligger i Aso, 42 km fra Kumamoto Slot, og tilbyder indkvartering med offentligt bad. Ferieboligen har aircondition og ligger 33 km fra Egao Kenko Stadion Kumamoto. The venue itself is stunning, an old Samurai house, very ancient and cool. The staff were incredible, very attentive to every request- including building an entire vegetarian menu (!!!) with local ingredients for my wife (we did notify beforehand). The food overall in the dinners was outstanding, we stayed for two nights and had two completely different dishes. The private onsen was amazing, just what you need after a long day out.
