Situated in Tokyo, within 1.5 km of Sensoji Temple and 2.2 km of Tokyo Skytree, Ryokan Nakadaya offers accommodation with a shared lounge. Great experience - the owner is really kind and even though we prepared extensively for the trip, he still had a lot of useful information for us for almost every district in Tokio. The futons were really comfortable and the bathrooms were in a good state. The location was perfect, close to Minami-Senju station. Overall the place was quite cozy and would recommend to anyone!

Objekt Ito Ryokan nalazi se na idealnoj lokaciji u četvrti Chuo Ward u Tokiju, na 200 metara od Spomenika japanskog oživljavanja tradicionalne kineske medicine, 400 metara od trgovačke ulice Amazake... The staff were all very friendly, it was close to the metro line and very comfortable.

Hotel Grand Prince Takanawa Hanakohro nalazi se u Tokiju, na 2,3 km od kompleksa Ebisu Garden Place. U sklopu objekta smješten je restoran. Absolutely loved this place. The staff was incredibly kind, breakfast was great, and the beds were so comfy.

Opened in June 2013, The Edo Sakura offers accommodation in a Japanese-style Machiya townhouse located a 5-minute walk from Iriya Subway Station and a 10-minute walk from JR Uguisudani Train Station. Absolutely beautiful place to stay when exploring Tokyo. The location is very close to multiple subway lines, walking distance to Ueno Park (and Zoo). The room (and the whole hotel) is beautifully put together to reflect a traditional Japanese environment. The staff are very nice and friendly. There is also a little alcove to play some board games (some games were there), and the waiting area/dining room is very big. We also booked the private bath which was very relaxing. You do have to make your own beds and put them away but it is very easy (Takes less than 3 mins) and I enjoyed the experience. The neighborhood itself is quiet and charming and seemed quite safe (and family friendly).

Ryokan Sansuiso is only 450 metres from JR Gotanda Train Station, on the Yamanote Line. It offers traditional Japanese accommodation with tatami (woven-straw) floors, futon beds and free Wi-Fi. Clean, authentic and thoughtful

Ryokan Kamogawa Asakusa is a 2-minute walk from Kaminarimon and Sensoji Temple. Asakusa Subway Station is a 5-minute walk away. Very good location! The private bath it’s a 10/10.

Offering free bikes and quiet street view, Tokyo inn Sakura An is set in Tokyo, 200 metres from Tokyo Origami Museum and 600 metres from Chiisanagarasunohonno Museum. This was one of my favorite accomodations in Japan. Out of all the budget 5 person accomodations we booked, miraculously the one in Tokyo ended up being what I thought to be the best deal. The host was exceptionally nice, he explained everything patiently and he was very happy to see I could understand a little Japanese which made explanations easier too. There were two bikes that we could use, a paid laundry right next door, and many extra amenities. In particular, the host left a massive amount of free snakes in the fridge and freezer as well as some cup ramen which was really generous and thoughtful of him. I was a big fan of the wardrobe rooms and in fact, it was the thing that caught my attention as it was basically identical to the kind of room the character Kagura stays in one of my favorite shows Gintama. On the topic of anime, there are a lot of funny Doraemon decorations and Doraemon inspired amenities that definitely added to the charm of this very clean and nicely located inn (5-10 minute walk from the Asakusa and Ginza lines).

Nobori is situated in Ome, 42 km from Mount Takao, 43 km from Fuchu Park, and 44 km from Fuchu Art Museum. The 2-star ryokan has mountain views and is 41 km from Tamarokuto Science Center. I liked that it was isolated from busy city Tokyo and that it was super close to nature and the mountain. The hospitality of the host was unmatched, the food dishes were delicious and hearty. I saw a tanuki the first day of the trip. It was an amazing day even when it’s rainy, because you can stay inside and relax.
