Fabulous breakfast and we were on our honeymoon so they surprised us with a decorated dessert and Polaroid photo of us!! Over the top kindness that makes me recommend this hotel to everyone and can’t imagine visiting Japan again without staying here.

The cleanliness of the place was noteworthy. Our room, furnished with comfortable futons and well-preserved tatami carpets, provided a genuine Japanese living experience. In terms of location, the inn is conveniently situated. A supermarket is just a 2-3 minute walk away, while both a 7-Eleven and a Lawson store are within a 5-minute stroll. The Minami Senju station, reachable in about 10 minutes on foot, offers easy access to major districts like Akiba and Ueno. Furthermore, the iconic Asakusa area, home to the Sky Tree and Sensoji Temple, is a leisurely 30-40 minute walk from the inn. This accommodation far surpasses a typical 3-star hotel in Tokyo in terms of both charm and service. It comes highly recommended for anyone looking to immerse themselves in the authentic atmosphere of Tokyo while enjoying modern comforts. A hidden gem indeed!

The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk, full-day security and luggage storage for guests. It was located in a nice corner of Asakusa. A bit of a walk and definitely cold during winter. But nice walk nonetheless. Host was superb and so friendly.

The accommodation features a public bath, free WiFi throughout the property and family rooms. I liked that it was isolated from busy city Tokyo and that it was super close to nature and the mountain. The hospitality of the host was unmatched, the food dishes were delicious and hearty. I saw a tanuki the first day of the trip. It was an amazing day even when it’s rainy, because you can stay inside and relax.
