14 miles from Kunming Sunshine Golf Club in Kunming, Swallow Nest Guesthouse features accommodations with access to a hot tub. the gentleman who runs the guesthouse with his family was absolutely amazing. He collected us from the airport and had to wait a really long time but did so with a smile, he went out at midnight to find food for my family and I, he made check in as easy as possible as we were still in Thailand holiday clothes rather than for sun zero temperatures. They made sure we go to the airport on time, very early I might add, and packed a breakfast for us.

昆明春庄山隐民宿 is a recently renovated homestay in Kunming where guests can make the most of its garden and terrace. This homestay features free private parking, free shuttle service, and free Wifi. You will need to like Chinese style breakfast. Home-made baize were excellent, with a boiled egg and some corn on the cob that was not dry or chewy, as well as some "Zhou" (porridge). Also noodles available. You can help yourself to a variety of Chinese tea too, which is nice. I'm not a coffee drinker, so I don't know if there was coffee.

Set in the Guandu district of Kunming, Chunjian Guest house offers an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and a terrace. The property is located 12 mi from Golden Temple Park. It's a beautiful place but we went there at night and left at dawn so we didn't have chance to appreciate the beauty of the place. Amenities and all were ok.
