Yakushima Havaalanı'na sadece 200 metre, Shiratani Unsuikyo Ravine'ya ise arabayla 45 dakika uzaklıkta yer alan Jomon no Yado Manten'de 5 farklı Japon hamamı, geleneksel yemekler ve 2 sauna... The location couldn't be better, it is literally across the street from the airport. Bus stops are very plentiful nearby and the hotel staff is very well versed in showing you exactly which buses you need to get to your destination on the island. They are able to call taxis for you if necessary as well. All around wonderful location and very helpful staff!

The atmosphere is friendly, nee-san is the most amazing host, and will help everyone plan their travels around yakushima. There's a kitchen to prepare food yourself and I highly recommend nee-san's onigiri for a day out! I love this place and will return there once I can. Stayed at 20+ guesthouses, this one is exceptional.

Yakusugi Land'e 25 km uzaklıkta yer alan Yakushima Pension Ichigoichie, Yakushima'da 3 yıldızlı konaklama olanağı ve bahçe sunmaktadır. Yakushima Pension Ichigoichie was a delightful place to stay with very friendly owners who prepared delicious breakfasts for us. Our room was tatami with futons for beds - we found these a little hard to sleep on so requested 'shikibutons', extra futons to go underneath, which did the trick. Our room had an en-suite toilet, but no bath/shower - instead we used the communal bath, which is available from 5pm each evening. The place is only 5min walk from the airport, which makes it incredibly convenient, though it's a drive to restaurants.

Located in Yakushima and only 20 km from Shiratani Unsuikyo, Cottage Orange House Yakushima provides accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. The host was very kind, spoke perfect English and went out of his way to help us — making several calls for us. The cottage is extremely spacious and has a full kitchen. We loved our stay here and wish we could have stayed longer!

Cottage Morinokokage'ın konukları hamaklı bir kır evi kiralayabilir. Konuk odalarında WiFi erişimi ücretsizdir. Our host Mr Nakashima was very kind and generous during our stay. He always replied to our messages via bookings.com very quickly, so it was easy to ask any questions and get help whenever we needed. When we had to change our travel dates and book a different room for the last day, he was very understanding and went the extra mile to assist us in transferring our luggage to the new room. Needless to say, the cottages themselves were adorable and lovely! Very clean and spacious, and the beds were comfortable. The best thing is the shoe dryer machine provided in the room. Because it rains so much in Yakushima, that device was invaluable in preparing our footwear for another day of adventure as they would be dry in no time! On the only one clear night we experienced, we were able to see some stars outside the room. The atmosphere is peaceful and you can hear birds chirping in the morning. It rained almost every day we visited, and yet we truly enjoyed our time in Yakushima thanks to the warm welcome from his family & colleagues, and appreciate all the help (especially advising us on the correct port to go for our departure ferry).

She took care to help with dinner reservations, and the daily lunchtime bento was wonderful. She encourages guests to be respectful of each other due to some waking up very early for hikes, so the accommodation is warm and welcoming but also peaceful. It is clean and has everything you need.
