Located within 1.5 km of Minatomishimadaimyo Shrine and 3.5 km of Taisanji Temple, Bakushuku Den Guest House Brew provides rooms with air conditioning and a shared bathroom in Matsuyama. Den welcomed us and was extremely helpful to find a place to eat in the evening. We stayed for two days and spend some time with him and other locals enjoying great craft beer. The room was spacious and very authentic in this old house. This was the start of our stays and we got a lot of great recommendations for the rest of our trip. Definitely one of the many highlights of our trip!

Located in Mitsuhama, 2.1 km from Minatomishimadaimyo Shrine, 三津ミーツ provides air-conditioned rooms and a shared lounge. Nice small well orgznized ryokan with tatami setup at the room. Nice quiet neighbourhood, with access to many nearby groceries like Lamu which operate 24hrs, and many other restaurants. Closer to the harbor seaside with short walking distance. The owner is really a nice lady which provided us lots of guidance to explore the nearby attraction places. Will certainly visit this place for a longer period in the near future!

Located a 5-minute taxi ride from JR Mitsuhama Train Station, Hotel Fine Garden Matsuyama is a 10-minute drive from Matsuyama Castle. Big room. Very spacious and value for money. But do note that is good only if you drive. There is basically nothing around the hotel. Breakfast was a big portion.

Situated in Mitsuhama, Kominka Mitsuhama Ryokan has a garden and free WiFi. Rooms are equipped with a terrace with a garden view. At the ryokan, each room includes free toiletries and a hair dryer. Katsuhiro's Ryokan is absolutely one of the nicest places I've been and nicest host I've met. The pictures speak for themselves absolutely gorgeous rooms with an Indonesian flair. Beautiful gardens with Koi. Katushiro was so gracious and took great care of myself and friends. Will definitely stay again.

Offering a garden and inner courtyard view, 旧鈴木邸 女性専用 is set in Matsuyama, 2.1 km from Minatomishimadaimyo Shrine and 3.9 km from Taisanji Temple. The old resident house was built in the early 1900s and has been very well maintained. Our hosts were so lovely and very generous! They welcomed us with small gifts and a map to show us the best sites to see. Location is very easily accessible by train.

Located just a 3-minute walk from JR Matsuyama Station, Hotel Sunroute Matsuyama is a 10-minute tram ride from Matsuyama Castle. The hotel is a 15-minute drive from Matsuyama Airport. Very close to JR station. Room is quite big!

The Hotel located at a very convenient place. You can easy to access to Matsuyama JR Station to go to the Airport, or take a taxi to the Airport, to walk go to the Mall shop, walk to the Matsuyama Castle, and the Hotel is right next to the night-bus stop. Also, you can see the ground -train which I think is the unique train in Japan just in front of the hotel.
