Discount made it good value. Able to cook a meal. Lots of sitting areas around facility Located close to mount panorama and not far from CBD. Quiet area Building is an old catholic convent primary school, boarding house, private residence etc. Lots of history to the building, therefore not your typical motel. Interesting building and grounds to explore. If you were meeting friends or family there would work well. Check in and out was easy, no fuss.

Nicely renovated hotel, the showers are fantastic! We booked last minute & got a great deal, it was great value. The room was a lot bigger than we expected & it's been nicely furnished. Our room had a microwave, kettle & some basic cutlery, which was perfect for self catering.

The Hallows is close by to the Mt Panorama race track, so not in the centre of town which we didn’t find an issue. The rooms were fine with comfortable beds, and fortunately a split system in the room to warm it, as the building was very cold. There are a number of kitchens for self-catering but very few utensils to do anything. Also, don’t expect your room to be serviced if you are staying more than a night. The Hallows was fine for a two night stay.
