Good location, central area. Key fob given to you to access the hotel our of hours. Different blocked areas with shared kitchen and bathroom areas. Fridge and freezers. Small comfy bed. Felt safe. Women on reception very kind and let me check in early even though the room wasn't clean, she allowed me to drop my bags in there. Also helped me find a bottle opener from a shop a few doors down, that I wouldn't have found otherwise. Great spot, opposite taco bell in wellington.

Room was really good for 5 adults and fully equipped. Nice location, nearby views included waterfront, and on Sundays they have nice market, art gallery, cable car, and meseum. Buses are available to zoo, zealandia, island bay aquarium. Excellent trip. Enjoyed my stay at Willis Apartment. Even from airport, buses are available and will drop u right in front of apartment.

We arrived around 9 p.m., so most cafes were closed. When we went 2 blocks over, we found restaurants, etc. The following morning when reception opened, the staff was extremely helpful in getting us to the ferry. This may not be the most modern place to stay, but it was comfortable and affordable.

I particularly liked being close to Cuba Street and found some great places for brunch there. The staff were really helpful and friendly. I liked having a television and kitchen area.
