We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Salty Lodge. The location was excellent and within walking distance of beautiful beaches and lots of shopping. As well it was a short walking distance to a grocery store which made cooking in the well-stocked kitchen easy when we didn't want to go out. There is a lovely rooftop lounge with outdoor seating and incredible views. Barbara, who was at the front desk throughout our stay, could not have been more helpful She gave us many good ideas for places to visit and was lovely to deal with. I would definitely stay there again.

And the mercado (Pingo Doce) Also close to the train station ( 20 minutes walk) The bus # 2 in front of the building will bring you to the city; to the ponta de piedade and at the end of the line this bus will bring you to the super beach Praia de Porto Mos and the fantastic walk you can do from there.

Cleaning was done daily by 2 very nice ladies, and the rooms was facing the pool. At the reception we were handed over a map with most important locations, our questions were clarified, and our requests concerning the room were quickly accommodated. Strongly recommend for a quiet vacation period!

Marina about 15 minutes walk and next to train station. Lovely staff at Hotel, very helpful and friendly. Taxi from Faro Airport to Hotel just over an hour and roughly 60 euros.
