A recently renovated property, Branco Suites - Rooms & Holiday Apartments is located in Santa Maria near Praia de Santa Maria, Praia António Sousa and Ponta da Fragata Beach. The property was clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful, respectful, kind to us and very responsive to our needs. The apartments are well-appointed and stylish.

Set in Palmeira, the recently renovated LA VELA offers accommodation 5.4 km from Monte Curral and 6.3 km from Buracona the Blue Eye. Milanca was super helpful. Very handy location. Close to the bus stop, port and everything. We loved 'la vela'

Surfzone Beachside Apartments is located on the seafront in Santa Maria, 100 metres from Praia de Santa Maria and 500 metres from Praia António Sousa. My stay started off worrisome, but Roderick worked with me to make it amazing in the end. A new club/bar had just opened across the street right before I arrived. So, the first night, I didn't sleep at all. I even tried 2 different types of ear plugs, but the bass was so loud that it was shaking my bed... until 2 or 3 in the morning. I told Roderick the next morning and he moved me to another room. Still noisy, so he moved me once again the next day. At this point, other guests were also complaining so he went to talk to the new owners. After that, it was smooth sailing. The noise from that club pretty much stopped for the rest of my 8-day holiday. My final apartment had a lovely view of the sea, was stocked with everything I needed, had fast wifi, and was in a great location. The bed is big and comfy and the rooftop terrace is a great place to chill. It's still noisy at night, being in the center of the city. But I was fine after the new bar was sorted, even without ear plugs. I was in the sea view apartment on the top floor. There are tons of options for eating in the area and there's a dive shop across the street, and a small surf break. I could literally roll out of bed and be prepping for a dive or renting a surf board in less than 2 min. The beach is wonderful too. Stretching for miles with plenty of space for everyone. You could even find relatively deserted spots if you walked 15 min down the beach either way. There was a bit of hassling from local sellers, but they were mostly respectful of the first "no thanks." The streets were surprisingly clean. All-in-all, I had a fantastic time. If you are a beach/water sport person, this is the place to be to escape European winters.

A beautiful place to stay, super kind owners and staff and very friendly cats and dogs!! The WiFi is excellent. I would be more than happy to stay again in the future

Sal Service - Beach residence is a beachfront property situated in Santa Maria, 100 metres from Praia António Sousa and 300 metres from Praia de Santa Maria. Location is perfect, close to the best breakfast spot in Santa Maria and 30 meter from the beach. Apartment has only the facilities one can ask for: hairdryer, proper kitchen to eat-in, proper bathroom. Paolo is a great host as well!

Everything was good. It was very clean and pretty. The staff facilitate us too many things as leave our laggage during the last day, or recommendations.

Very good location. The receptionists were friendly and did their best to solve our problem. The cleaners cleaned the apartment every day, towels were changed every two days.
