Close to bus stops, shops and restaurants. It's a beautiful very clean villa. We stayed in the first floor. You have to cook breakfast yourself but I didn't mind they provide you with lots of goods for breakfast and even snacks too. They cleaned up the kitchen and bathroom daily. The host was very sweet and pleasant. She even let me hire her babysitter for a night out in town. We really enjoyed our stay! Thank you for everything!

We were first nervous to pay directly outside of booking.com platform but Mari was super patient with us, and ensured us about the security. Place is exactly like it shows in the photos, no surprises. Location is amazing, right in the village. Mari also provided us with groceries, supplies every single day for breakfast, whatever we asked for. Apartment was cleaned every single day. We couldn’t have asked for a better place, host and experience.

The apartment location is great with a fantastic view. The standard of accommodation was excellent as were the facilities. Plenty of room, comfortable beds. Check in was easy. The sauna was amazing. Well equipped if you want to dine in. Plenty of restaurants near by, but ensure you book in advance.

Lapland Hotel Ounasvaara Chalets is by the Kemijoki River, next to Ounasvaara Ski Centre. It offers free WiFi, free parking and apartments with private saunas and fully equipped kitchens. Rovaniemi town centre is a 5-minute drive away. Definitely recommended to stay in Rovaniemi. Chalets are modern, very functional, extremely clean. Breakfast is fabulous with high choice of local cousins. If you like to walk plenary of tourist tracks nearby. It is not on the standard path if you want to visit city center or Santa Claus village, so prepare do either taxi rides, great walks or use a car if you have. Although location just nearby the river is great. Sauna in your chalet is a high plus. We were after standard winter season which needs to be great there when you have snow around.
