The lady meeting us at the reception was extremely supportive and exceeded our expectations by giving us all information we needed including lake boats timetable, best restaurants in the neighborhood even discount card for the grocery next door. Residenza Dell' Opera offers elegant room and apartments in the centre of Turin, within 1 km of Piazza Castello Square, the Royal Palace of Turin, and Madama Palace. The apartment was very central and extremely clean. The kitchen was outfitted with the basics, including a dishwasher, and electric stove/oven. Dishwashing costs extra, so make sure you read the fine print on the counter. We had a complimentary bowl of fresh fruit and bottled water. The elevator/parking lot was super convenient. We parked the car for three days and walked the city. The parking is extra but well-priced in comparison to Torino's private lots. The attic rooms do run a bit warm, but you have full control of the temperature. The hotel in in the city ZTL limited traffic zone and coming into the city between the hours of 7am and 10:30am will incur a fine. Plan accordingly if you are driving. The hotel does offer a laundry service but only on weekdays and it takes a day. If you need laundry during the weekend, drop it off at Lavasecco Tintoria Arcobaleno on Via Mazzini. Super nice folks with a quick turnaround.

Villa Gremì - Monforte d'Alba is located in Monforte dʼAlba and features a heated pool and city views. A solarium is available for guests. Villa Gremi was one of our favourite places to stay during our three and a half week visit to Italy. The concept of having your own apartment with breakfast items provided and daily housekeeping in a boutique-like structure, is unique and one we much appreciated. The apartment is elegant, spacious and well-appointed. The swimming pool is in a beautiful, private area with chic furniture, and is larger than it appears in the photos. The staff is professional and caring, always available by phone or on the premises in the morning and late afternoon. We loved the location high up in Monforte d'Alba which is a charming town with numerous dining options. We anticipate a return in the future!
