Nani is the most friendliest and nicest host I ever met and with her support, suggestions and availability for helping our stay in Casa Azul was magical experience and we had incredible cool planned stay in Ilha Grande. Thank you Nani for everything and absolutely we are recommending Casa Azul!

By far the best hostess I ve had in the one and a half month I spent in Brazil. Simply the best. Always available. Super helpful. She gave me great suggestions for places to go. She helped with booking day tours on the last minute when everything had go wrong. And on top of everything when I got beaten by an unidentified insect in the jungle she took me to the health center and served as a translator for as long as it was needed. The rooms are great. Very clean and comfy. Absolute value for price. The bathroom is also spacious and clean. The location is perfect. Close enough so that everything is very accessible but far enough to be also quite. When I visit ilha grande again, I will definitely stay there.

We had the best stay at Sebastien's place on Ilha Grande, we loved it so much we extended our stay! Sebastien is such a welcoming host with loads of local tips and recommendations. The house itself is beautiful, the photos really do not do it justice. The location is also perfect, 10 mins walk from the harbour and just steps from a beautiful beach and the town. Thank you Sebastien for a fantastic stay.

Kitchen is well equipped and common spaces are comfortable. Rooms were big, with private toilets and showers that were cleaned every day. Location is perfect, walking distance from the main attractions of the island. You can book day trips, rent snorkel equipment and book your trip back to Rio from the hostel front desk at very convenient rates.RominaSolo traveller
