The kitchen was equipped with all we needed. Breakfast, made by Judy, was wonderful….so tasty and all the breakfast foods we like. The whole apartment is beautifully decorated. Comfortable beds, clean sheets and clean and fluffy towels. Big supermarket around 2 km away and a bakery just down the road. It is not apparent from the description or the pictures that this is the basement apartment of a house and that the door is right at a very busy road. The space was modern and neat and tidy. Judy was a perfect host/conversationalist. We had a full breakfast in the sunroom of French toast, sausage, 3 fruits, Paris tea, coffee and juice. Would love to return for Tea on the Grand. (High tea). Judy makes delicious smelling scones. Next time. We highly recommend this B&B.

There aren't too many left like her who put their time and emerging into preserving a memory of the past instead of just destroying and building modern condos to make money.

Check-in was very easy and breakfast was delicious. I would highly recommend staying at the Carriage House Flat.

A cozy apartment inside a 200 year old home, overlooking the river; quaint, clean and very comfortable - the most comfy bed and pillows! Everything is provided, from laundry facilities to coffee makers (Keurig and french press). There were books, games and a fully equipped TV menu. Judy was helpful and very hospitable. The breakfasts were delicious and brought to your door. So was a snow brush for our car after an unexpected snowfall. We'll be back in the summer!
