The friendliness of the owners is outstanding. They're always reachable via whatsapp, and they help with all sorts of stuff you might need (including tours and the boat in and out of Sierpe). They were also kind enough to pick us up from the port, and to take us there when it was time to go back.

I have found a piece of Paradise and experienced a true Tico hospitality at Cabinas Yafeth. It is located at Playa Caletas in the remote part of Osa Peninsula, between Drake Bay and Corcovado National Park. There are three cabins personally built and cared for by the loveley couple, Christian and Virginia, and their 12 year old son Yafeth. They live in the premises along with their extended family. Our largecabin was the newest with AC, modern toilet and hot water shower. Comfortable bed and pillows, and clean towels. All the wonderful meals were served in the dining area. Tea bags and hot water is offered along with filtered cold water dispenser. Cerveza is availavle to purchase. If you want to be in such a place, you must Stay here. You will wake up to the chirping of the birds and crashing waves at the beach. The cabinas are not oceanfront, and the beach is just 1-2 minutes down the path.

The whole place was perfect! Groceries and restaurants within walking distance. Near all of our tour pickup spots. Beautiful ocean view. The air conditioning was a blessing as it was so hot and humid. Vincent went out of his way to provide a mangrove tour. Will definitely stay here again!

We decided to stay an extra night and they arranged for us to move into the bigger apartment as ours was booked out.

The apartment is super clean, comfy bed, mosquito protection, AC and a balcony/terrace. Truly a recommendation! If a little kitchen would be available we would extend our stay to a much longer period.
