Right on the beach with security all around. Beach chairs and towels were provided. Check in was very easy. Payment was in cash since we booked at the last minute. Staff was extremely, wonderfully accommodating.

Nice clean, thoughtfully furnished apartment. The balcony has an amazing view: great for appreciating the sunset, or sighting birds in the nearby trees. We had 4 macaws fly overhead one morning. There is easy beach access and the pools looked appealing. Lovely.

Well-equipped cottage with outdoor space for the kids to play. Loved the two hammocks! Loads to do in the area. Down the road is a restaurant with a pool, including kids' pool, plus slides. Maxi Palí supermarket, pharmacy etc few minutes' drive away. Loads of beaches around. Bejuco Beach is a ten-minute drive away. It has deeper pockets of pools along the shore which I loved. Also loved Jaco Beach area for shops and restaurants. Not to be missed: Manuel Antonio National Park. You definitely need a guide - advance booking essential. Lots of wildlife there, including sloths. Also strongly recommend Rainmaker Park. You can swim in the waterfalls and rivers there! Definitely recommend Casa Cariad. Hosts were really helpful and quick to get back to me when I had questions.
