The hosts/owners are very helpful and responsive. The apartment is in a historical building that is remodeled and has great beds, nice bathroom, super kitchen (which we didn't use to be honest because the restaurants easily within walking are great and there's a nice boulangerie about 100 yards down the street), comfy couch. Parking isn't right at the apartment, but it is close (I estimate about 300 yards) and pretty inexpensive. We loved our stay.

This is the best apartment in which we have stayed in two months of cycling in France, Italy and Switzerland. We stayed for two nights but would love to have stayed for longer. Valerie and Paul greeted us on arrival, were gracious in allowing an early check in and provided us with a secure lockup for our bicycles. The apartment, which was in an historically significant area of Auxerre, was very spacious, complete with terrace and had a great kitchen/living area. It was wonderful to stay in one of the half timbered houses of Auxerre, the street and house views from the windows were marvelous. The windows were able to be opened thus enabling good ventilation. I particularly liked the lack of clutter and tasteful decoration giving us lots of space to enjoy our stay. 10/10 from me.

The apartment was wonderful. Right in the middle of the historic town of Auxerre but very quiet. Excellent, extremely clean facilities of a very high standard. An easy walk from the train station of about 20 minutes although also easy to get lost. Certainly one of the best Apts we have stayed in and highly recommended. Also having a detailed folder of info about Auxerre was most useful. The tourist information centre was nearby and also the Nonoprix supermarket. Thank-you.
